Someone online referred to the track online as "Questions" by Coke, supposedly released on Loud. Can't find it on discogs. Anybody know anything about this release or have a longer version of it? Track is pretty dope imo.

That is Mad Kap-Questions(1994) and yes it was produced by Ju Ju from The Beatnuts.

^only ones i knew, which were only like two, this time were already named. and that definitely sounds Ill Advised related a couple of the tracks.

I've known this beat for awhile but i could swear someone else used it:

Anyone confirm that this exact sample was used before? Either way this is a great joint, enjoy.

Song Question

Post by paul_smith »

I saw DJ Premier & Bumpy Knuckles last night. Show was nice, they played pretty much everything they've done together + Who Knows Why, which is why I wanted some more old Freddie Foxxx music, but it was alright.

Just before they went on stage the warm up DJ played a Beastie Boys song with a really dark beat. Sounded like a really good death row throwaway from 94-95. Shitty thing is, the guy kept rewinding the track just as soon beastie started rapping so I couldn't make out the lyrics. Being fully aware of the vague description I still have some faith someone might recognise it. Regards in advance.

That's not the one. I should've ,mentioned it in the first place since the song actually fits the description quite well :D. The song was definitely faster paced than the Get It Together Remix though. And I appologize for not making the request in its proper place.

Sup fam!

There's a chorus stuck in my head since I woke up today... It goes "Money talks, bullshit walks, the marathon"... I can even hear the beat, some dope indie 90's stuff... But I can't manage to remember which song it is! Thanks in advance!

^Mr Mic Rippa - 96 Cream Hunt ?

P.S, just out of curiosity... did this expression emerge from Wesley Snipes on New Jack City's first scene?

Thanks a lot Architek, that's that one! This beat is crazy, could listen to it for hours without getting bored.

And yes, I also think it's a reference to New Jack City.
