Toss up between Livin' Proof and Soul Food. Went Livin' Proof because the beats still knock.

I went Livin Proof as well. That was a hard choice. I remember buying Livin Proof, Soul Food and Mr Smith on the same day. Good rap day.

Soul Food is just an all-around personal classic, great memories of kicking it on the pond w/ danks and Bud tallboys and listening to this album front-to-back on the first day of spring. Great vibes, awesome production...OutKast's debut may have been the jumpstarter for the Dungeon Family but this album did so much to develop that movement and their sound.

That being said, the beats on Livin' Proof are some of the dopest I've ever heard from that time period. Still not touching Soul Food though. Also, Livin' Proof contains some atrociously bad rapping.

Mr. Smith for me.

I remember buying that Just Ice tape after I seen the add in the Source. That sh!t sounded like it was recorded in 91.

Livin' proof or Soul Food is a tough choice...Went with Livin' proof for no reason in particular.

picked soul food, love the beat on i didn't ask to come
like many 90's rap albums its way too long, imagine if it had been slimmed down to 10 or 11 tracks

Livin Proof for me, that album was an addiction and soundtrack to my life as a New Yorker. I wasn't even that much aware of what was going on in The South at the time aside from Scarface & Luke.
