Mother Superia question
I just copped her previously shelved 4th and broadway debut from amazon digital. Its a pretty solid album featuring production from KRS-ONE And redman (underrated on the boards imo) one question. Does anyone know who the guest emcees are on the track "mother may i"? I will share the album when i get a chance if anyone is interested

She runs off the names at the beginning of the track.
The spelling might be off since I've never heard of any of these emcees.
From what I can make out the artists names are...
Smooth Sinister Class, Mellow Aquan, Bonafide, Psycho & Lord Mecca.
I'm not sure that's the order on the track though, sound like Lord Mecca is the first emcee.

Cool thanks for the info. I remember seeing ads for this in the source when i was in 10th grade. Even reviewed possibly. Then nada. Pretty good lp though. Very different from the current "miami" sound lol

I wasn't up on this album, but listening to a few songs online and it sounds solid - reminds me of Heather B's LP in some ways.
Do you have a link to the album?

That would be great, thank you. I tried to purchase it from Amazon, but it seems to have geographic restrictions... I never knew of Redman's production involvement on this album (I always thought he was a dope producer too) so am looking forward to checking it out.madstadik wrote:I will try and up it this week. Re: Mother Superia question
Some of the beats KRS gave her also appeared on his "Strictly For Da Breakdancers" albums. "Levitation" is a pretty solid album front to back, but the label really didn't know what to do with it. It was supposed to drop in '96 first, promo CD's were available, then they pushed the release date to '97 and slightly reworked the promo CD's (Every mention of 1996 was either left out or replaced with 1997), but the songs on both versions remained the same.
Re: Mother Superia question
Fun facts lol. Yeah KRS came thru w the beats as well
Re: Mother Superia question
It was well worth the 8.99
