they had pre artifacts demos as 'that's them' that DJ porno played on WFMU, they had artifacts demos with lord jamar (wrong side, check fine print, flexi with tech, etc), but a demo tape from 95-96 i'm not sure, because they were already signed at that point. I heard some of Kaos' tapes, and from 95-96ish there are some unreleased AOF songs, unreleased Tame material with random cats from Newark, and like raw studio versions of recorded songs.. is there any way you could rip the tape and share/email? Kaos did say he lost some stuff, so he might not have it..

Interesting, well i am not sure about year as there is not mentioned on the tape so i am guessing 95-96 but could be earlier. Unfortunately i can not rip any tapes at that stage. Thanks for the info tho.

One of the funniest shows that amazes me about the stuff they used to discuss on-air: when Kool Bob Love went on a late night rant about people coming over to his house and leaving streaks of shit in the toilet bowl after using the bathroom. I'm waiting for that episode to show up here.

Haha i dont remember that one fbb.

Im sure that Othorized will get pressed eventually. Sean didnt have the masters, john v did and i doubt he'll let them rot away. Its possible that one of the other labels will or already did buy the rights.

Bobbito gonna be back on the air with a weekly show on eastvillageradio. Preview is May 20 from 2pm to 4pm, then the show will start in June. Thats the only info ive seen so far so l can only guess what kind of show it will be. Probably all kinds of funky sounds, latin grooves, and other good stuff. Since it's on his terms l would imagine there will be a lot of talk about the stuff he's into, could be real interesting.

Again I'm just speculating here, l have no clue what his plan is. But l would bet that with enough requests, he'd probably once in a while bust some demos out of that closet of his.

Also, peep the Doin It ln The Park playground basketball doc of his, its really good, worth the watch. He started it with Kickstarter, was successfull, and has been world touring since and still is. l dont know when or if a DVD, but you can buy it digitally for 10 bucks.

Digital Stimulation wrote:Some more show listings and separated freestyles for you from 1994

The bolded tracks are in the link at the bottom of this post.

Stretch Armstrong & Bobbito (9-29-94) (Hosted by Daddy Reef & Matt Life. DJ Riz, DJ Avee & DJ Eclipse on the tables)

This first show, Stretch and Bob weren't in the house, but the guest hosts brought the flava. Minnesota and Money Boss Players came up and represented. The freestyle is not courtesy of me, somebody else separated it and posted it in here a few years back, I can't remember who it was but props to them. I'm throwing it up again in case anybody doesn't have it. I don't positively know the name of the artist of the Peanut Butter demo that's been posted in here before. I think it was decided on Psychedelic Alien so I went with that. There's a few old school tracks I couldn't ID, as usual they only played one verse, one and a half tops.

Pt. 1

Shorty Long - Shorty's Doin' His Own Thing
Frankenstein - Peace And Quiet
Scientifik - Jungles Of The East
Unknown Instrumental
Talk Break
M.O.P. - Downtown Swinga
Phone call with Stretch & Bobbito

Nomaads - The Ultimate
Outro

Stretch Armstrong & Bobbito (10-20-94)

Legendary Kool DJ Red Alert comes up to the show, as well as another legend Milk Dee, promoting his only solo record, he kicks a short freestyle which I have included. In the 2nd half of the show R.A. The Rugged Man joins Stretch & Bob and makes them uncomfortable. He drops a freestyle and hangs around quietly for Krunchtime, which is mad long on this night. It starts off kinda funny but seems to drag on as they go further. Ardie Fuqua is in the house with Sear on this one, trading snaps with callers.

Pt. 1

The Notorious B.I.G. & Sadat X - Come On Motherfuckers

Gang Starr - The ? Remainz
Diamond D - With The Dope Sound
Phone Calls/Krunchtime

Stretch Armstrong & Bobbito (11-10-94)

This one is just a partial show, a little under 2 hours. Nothing ultra special on this night as the 1200's were locked in the closet, causing mucho bitching from Stretch. Group Home comes up for a mostly wasted appearance. They try and drop a short freestyle but give up fairly quickly due to the turntable issues, so I didn't even bother separating that. Channel Live comes up and rips it, again this freestyle was posted by somebody else, either in here or another board. Props to them for making me do less work. I have included it for your listening pleasure.

Tha Alkaholiks - Daaam!
Brand Nubian - Straight Off Da Head
KA - I'm A Genius
The Beatnuts - Hit Me With That
5One6 - Dirty Little Bitch
Q-Ball & Curt Cazal - One Time
Talk Break with Group Home

Nine - Whutcha Want
Cella Dwellas - Land Of The Lost
Keith Murray - How's That
Gang Starr - The ? Remainz
Latee - Brainstorm
Nas - Life's A Bitch (Buckwild RMX 2)
O.C. - Word...Life
Talk Break
Kool Keith & Godfather Don - I Was Forgotten
Craig Mack - Get Down (cuts off)

Stretch Armstrong & Bobbito (11-24-94)

Finally, we have a more complete listing of the '94 Thanksgiving show. There's only 3 hours here so I don't think it's full. Obscene Questions, who I had never heard of before or since came up and killed it. This is easily one of my own personal favorite sessions in KCR history. These kids were nice, I wonder whatever happened to them.
Krunchtime is pretty lively and I had people looking at me funny at work as I was busting out laughing, but I told them to suck mad pee pee. A bunch of heads called in and tried (mostly unsuccessfully) to rhyme, getting all kinds of abuse. One kid (K-Dash) really tore it out the frame, I included that freestyle in here. The rest of them either sucked or were drowned out by the clowning going on so I didn't keep those. At the very end of the show Doo Wop calls in and puts Snaggapuss on and he kicks a short acapella freestyle, which I threw in because hey, it's Snags, he's nice with his.

Pt. 1

Redman - Can't Wait
Ill Al Skratch - Get Dough
Latee - Brainstorm
Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth - It's On You
The Notorious B.I.G. - Warning
Talk Break
Obscene Questions Freestyle
Common Sense - In My Own World
Group Home - Supa Star
Kamakazee - Bridge '95
AZ - Life's A Bitch (Buckwild RMX 2)
Big L - Put It On
Funkdoobiest - Rock On (Buckwild RMX/Acapella/Original Blend)
Blue Black - Blue Black
Double X - He Asked For It
Tha Alkaholiks - All The Way Live
Cella Dwellas - We Got It Hemmed
Nine - Whutcha Want
Mobb Deep - Shook Ones Pt. II

Pt. 2

Erule - Listen Up
Jeru The Damaja - Can't Stop The Prophet (Pete Rock RMX)
World Renown - How Nice I Am
Artifacts - Cummin' Thru Ya Fuckin' Block
Talk Break with Daddy Reef
Phone Calls
K-Dash Freestyle (Phone Call)
Phone Calls
Bek Freestyle (Phone Call)
Quiet Storm Freestyle (Phone Call)
Phone Calls
Doo Wop Phone Call
Baby Islam Freestyle (Phone Call)
Snaggapuss Freestyle (Phone Call)

As promised, here are the separated tracks

http://www.sharebeast.com/uws36gdqao71

Hopefully I will be back with more of these soon.

I have a few undated '94 shows left (all of them around 90 mins) and a fuck-ton of '95 & '96 shows to go through.

Peace...
Digital Stimulation, how do I get hold of these shows please? I would really like to hear the Red Alert show. Thanks in advance.

The East Village Radio show is d'dope'dope Verge, thanks for the heads up.

Just good music.. http://www.eastvillageradio.com/shows/p ... 1-20130520

QUESTION:

I think it was 97 or 98, but can anyone remember which month Stretch & Bobb played a Red Alert show off a tape on a Crunchtime session? Stretch rapped along to Antionette, I remember that.

Thanks in advance.

I doubt it'll be legit, but whatever form it takes, it'll be dope. Im fascinated tbh, mainly cos of the legislative issues.

Has that Redman show been upped before ? I wasnt sure if I was wastin my time or not.

What up Verge, yeah I know I owe you a long overdue pm. Nes, too. I totally forgot about this joint but unfortunately I don't think it was ever id'ed. Put it in the never-to-be-known pile...

Actually I been meaning to put this up- it's a tweaked version the Kid Hood demo w/o Bob's drops during the 1st chorus. It was harder than I thought it would be, took mad long (amateur that I am). The seams show but I figure we could at least pretend it's not from radio, rite?
