I'm just looking for the name of a group, its a underground hardcore Hip Hop group from Florida. They dropped an EP back in the mid 90's and put out a video for one of the tracks, all I remember is that it had hard drums and an orchestral sample. They may have been down with Uncle Luke and I believe they only had 3 members. Its not First Platoon.

Really? This seems to be a recurring trend. Everytime I find out that one of my favorite golden age Hip Hop groups has released an obscure album in the late 90's, it usually turns out to be garbage. From Kool Kim, Chill Rob G, Mellow Man Ace, etc., and now Sham & The Professor. I still feel like an idiot for buying Young Mc's 1997 album Return Of The 1 Hit Wonder, what a piece of filth!

couple of track off it here... to me the beats are not good and the hooks are some of the worst I've ever heard

never even knew young mc dropped an album in 97. that's exactly the kind of thing I'd probably buy too, lol

for some reason the sound quality on that cenobites album is poor on every version I've heard, even the CD version. Like they recorded it off a bad cassette copy to the CD? Thanks anyway, not sure why that link didnt come up when I searched

Yeah I see what you mean! The beats are really nothing special, but the tracks with Awesome 2 and Masta Ace sound pretty good.
