Props to the whole Heavy Jewelz team, another dope record in your catalogue! Will it be available in digital format like the previous project or not?

BLACC Heart reissued their 2001 mini-album which contains "Once Upon A Time" & "Caught Up In Da Ak". They also released a new one with old unreleased recordings called "Lost Tapes". Both mp3/CD-only unfortunately.

Another album is scheduled for 2014 (no info) and a "best of" compilation for the 20th anniversary in 2017 (!)

Ill Adrenaline comes with all dope shit, some of which is from the vaults, but most is new Hiphop. Pretty soon they're gonna be releasing two unreleased albums from Frankenstein. Redefinition Records is right up at the top as well... ALL QUALITY SHIT!!

Why do you only wanna know about labels though??? Plenty of dope shit comes out on labels I've never heard of. Anyways, other labels I like are Blunted Astronaut, Diggers With Gratitude, Dope Folks, Fat Beats, Jakarta, KicDrum, King Underground, Mello Music Group, Sergent, Six2Six, Slice-Of-Spice and a few others I can't think of at the moment. GoodFelons was dope and so was No Sleep, but I spoke with James "DL" through e-mail a month or two ago and he assures me that No Sleep will be back pretty soon. Look for DJ Spinna to be diggin into his vaults pretty soon as well. Like I said man, there's PLENTY of dope Hiphop, new & old, comin out on vinyl all the time...

This year I put out a couple of Nick Wiz 2LP's sub-licensed through No Sleep, there's a few other things that have been CD-only until now that I'm working on doing wax for. Hopefully DL digs out some more gems for some new releases too.

^Yeah man but I'm talking robotics style and the demos he did before he hooked up with Nick.

I guess that album will already have a weaker LHM.

its that time of the year again to list and vote for your favorite vinyl archive of the year. These are my top candidates, feel free to add your choices and we'll come up with a list and start a poll.

Terror Green 95 demo
Zigg Zagg demo pt.2
Omniscence Raw factor
Nick Wiz Cellar Selections

I go with L The Head Toucha, Terror Green, Darc Mind, Omniscence, Kev E Kev & Ak-B, Zigg Zagg and Young Zee. Honorable mentions: NBA and The Henchmen. Nevertheless, in my opinion the excessive release policy of Chopped Herring kinda sucks as quality stuff gets lost in the shuffle of mediocre music.

Oh, and one of my top choices of 2013 is the Miles Davis Quintet: Live In Europe 1969 The Bootleg Series Vol. 2 box set. It's the raw pre-Bitches Brew sound...the drumming by Jack DeJohnette is so fuckin incredible!

Sparrow - Physics
Zigg Zagg 1 + 2
Killa Kidz
Q-Ball and Curt Cazal
Sandinistas

Chopped Herring got the best music minus the recent release stuff like Outdoorsmen etc., but it is good giving some current stuff a platform.

I d like to see the World Renown and Kamakaze albums in 2014. If not somebody should do a semi offical double cd like Deda / InI. And if Peter or Marlon try to spit in your face - spit back.

Terror Green - The 95 Demo
Gee Rock & Da CND Coalition - Strait Outta Jerzee [LPs from the early 90s don't come up often]
Nick Wiz - Cellar Selections Vol. 2 & 3 [if to be considered as archive material]
Da Henchmen ‎– The Ill Cyde Vaults Vol.2 [disappointing sound though]
Sandinistas ‎– Madd Luv
The Mischievous LQ And The Mad Mischief Crew - Rare & Unreleased Mischief Vol. 1 & 2
The Madness - Undaneath The Sun
J-Force - Pink Chicken

2014, looking forward to Candy Store and mid-90's Gee Rock.
edit: And most def hoping for some Ill Elements, that Parallel to Hell joint got me hooked.

I'm the "hidden" man behind this release... Holla at me if you want more infos. ;)

And by the way, it's a pretty dope CD to cop if you miss that vintage Cold 187µm sound.
