Thats the one. Ive eqd and tried to remaster the show a bit, just such a classic set.

Hope nobody is offended that I can only post whats on this cassette, and not the entire show, in its entire entirety, and in much better quality.

Always confusing those two? Hahahahhaha

Was that Em & Royce rhyme off Stretch or Halftime? Ive seen it listed as both, and that REALLY sounds like Stretch towards the end, droppin the usual 'Aaiiiight'...

Nes had posted it as a Halftime freestyle, but after reading this article linked in the Complex post, it's pretty safe to say it was actually off Stretch:

Thanks for that Premo show!

DUDE !

Serch listen, you make me look like I know what im at !

I wouldnt know Tone Capone if he came up to me an tried to rob my watch B. This is niceness. Again with the education, never-ending goodness. Cheers.

Thanks again fella.

Hope y'all enjoyed the show off of HOT97, its weird, I was so amped to hear Nice n Smooth when I rediscovered this SA90 but tbh, im more stoked off the 12"s.

The Ak Skills, the Rakim NY, the Defari and the Lone Ranger joint. Just good mixing and some great late 97 music.

How PAID was Angie Martinez doin all those ads yo ?

Sorry Krisch, the one with Nice n Smooth? I had posted to SC, but didnt add the pic, sorry for the confusion.

I've just added the pic.

Anyone know what the track is at 45:52 on the DJ Premier n Fatman Scoop mix? Its just a bed but its a decent wee beat, and someone is aksing as well.

The majority of the tapes im sharing on RRR are from a lifelong collection I've always had, and just enjoyed bumpin, 30 years worth.

20/ 30 tapes [you'll recognise that the hand-style is totally different] are courtesy of my best mate who emigrated to Australia after living in Belfast for 35 years. Early this year, he gave away his vinyl collection, he sold his CDs and he was in the process of dumping his cassette collection when I took a flight home [London back home to Belfast] and picked em up.

That was one of them. Never shared until now, as far as I can tell.

Anyone have the show with the Eminem, Royce 5'9, Tony Bones and Mr. Live freestyles? I believe it was from 98' and Tony Bones kept messing up his verse from Splashin' Over Monica. They were rhyming over Heltah Skeltah's "Worldwide" and then the Gangstarr and M.O.P joint "Half and Half".

Has anyone ever come up with a copy of the night Sporty Thievz ended up at the studio with Craig G & Lord Digga. Some friends from London were in there too, love to get hold of it if anyone has it, thanks in advance.

Only date I can see for Sporty Thievz is: http://stretchandbobbito.blogspot.co.uk ... digga.html

So, I'm glad you picked the cassettes up before he dumped them. Being from Germany, I never had access to the Stretch & Bob shows, and I was spending too much of my little money buying records, I hardly bought any mixtapes back then. So I really appreciate people like you and the other usual suspects in here sharing those shows.

An NY cat by the name of Chris Miller [who has been waiting for over a month to get his Philaflava application auth'd], has contacted me to let me know he's collated a bus-load of shows in one place, as a sort of accompaniment to Serchs archives and as an attempt to have some sort of S&B 'clearinghouse'. There are 204 links so far, this guy gets props.

Is there any way to get this info onto http://stretchandbobbito.blogspot.co.uk/ onto each page, I think alotta the links that had been deaded, and are live again. Im far from the expert on them but I did think it was a good idea.

It is Serch, good dude.

If the links that both yourself and Chris have shared could be all be added on the blog list on individual pages and for individual shows, it'd be pretty tidy.

@BigSleep, any thoughts on handing over the reins so that a solid collection is listed and available? Maybe do a revitalised thing on the PF blog ? #justsaying

Ya never know, it might even influence others to add on. I've discovered this works after sharing my Red Alert and Westwood shit over at RRR.

Would the general consensus agree or is it pie n' the sky ?

I always believed there was/is a consensus. I don't think anyone who visited the sb blog hasn't assumed that it would eventually supply download links for every show that's been shared.
