Whats doin Aleph? Yeh thats a really good point. Maybe now is the time with so much live linkage, before this it all seemed a bit disjointed and jumbled.

If Serchs archive has all of his rips, shared rips and all of Eclipses shares, and this newbie Chris' [http://www.hulkshare.com/afn33282] links have pretty much all of the other ones, that adds up to 270 links.

Thats a hefty wedge of Stretch & Bobb in the scheme of things, and possibly the largest amount of live links available at once, maybe, I dunno.

@BigSleep @Nes @Verge - What say you? Is now the time for someone to take all the links and connect the dots with links on the blog pages, from the two archives and with the extra input of heads that can spot anomalies via their own rips ?

I just keep thinking that with a coherent blog, with exhaustive live links, and maybe a push from the PF blog to gain more interest, more people will come forward with more gaps to be plugged, thats all im sayin....

There are 204 links so far, this guy gets props.

Is there any way to get this info onto http://stretchandbobbito.blogspot.co.uk/ onto each page, I think alotta the links that had been deaded, and are live again. Im far from the expert on them but I did think it was a good idea.

thanks for the dirtywaters shows.

I've offered both Verge and Ho1o access, since the three of us had the original thread idea here. I still have info I wanna add for each show and a certain formatting I want to adhere to if possible but if all you want me to do is copy and paste the tracklisting that appears in the comments and throw up download links, I can do that. Same with a T.R.O.Y. Blog post.

I think thats all thats needed, just a major C&P job of all the live links on the blog, whether in the comments section or in the body of the text, dont think it matters. Maybe a change of template for the blog when everythings finished might hype it up in terms of cosmetic ? Could even make it seem like a boxfresh blog. Or maybe someone with good design skills could rock up a fresh header ? What about the typeface on the shirt below, always a fan of this font. And its a nice nod.

I've noticed that some random blog posts dont have any tracklistin', but theyre prolly buried in the thread somewhere. Im happy to go through all the live links, then do a comparison report for the live links that still need TL. There wont be many.

If you need anything else from me, dont hesitate.

nfl / 8izenuff / - 1993 freestyle cipher

Code: Select all

http://www75.zippyshare.com/v/77261685/file.html
both are better than what Digga got on the Collectors Edition.

Checked the hulkshare linkage - nothing really new in terms of demos, promos and remixes.

@Stieflkater - The Hulkshare is just stacks of the shows that had deaded links, re-upped, no claims to be anything new.

@Brandan - Sorry fella, I had a spare of the yellow Ecko and a burgandy 89 Tec 9 joint like the one on the Complex list recently, but sold em both and no spare navys, that one's my PNB pride n joy.

Have ya read through Jeff Staples editorial about the show? 89.9 Tec 9 was the name of the show? http://www.complex.com/style/2013/10/gr ... ch-bobbito What a wumpy !

I have a spare heather grey Ecko Unlimited one if anyone wants to make some realistic bids, deadstock XL [X-Grande on the label, ha].

BTW. Do you any of you DJ Stretch Armstrong completists have a 320 rip of one of the mixtapes he did with Whoo-Kid called Final Destination Vol.2?

Thanks in advance if anyone can help out.

Whats happening peepz. Hope all is good and Merry Xmas and Happy 2014 already.

Yo. I finally got admitted to Philaflava and want to share/swap my Stretch & Bobbito tapes with y'all. Me and Chris http://www.hulkshare.com/afn33282 hooked up online to swap/share missing tapes.

This is my current updated list Dec 2013. I contacted Stretch and have sent this list to him with some uploads. What I highlighted in BLUE are the tapes I've got. If someone wants to swap holler at me. I really want to get the 1990 and 1991 episodes. Total got 25gb, but to upload takes forever, maybe create a torrent file otherwise be patient please.

Peace Ted aka The Abstrakt

@Stieflkater - The Hulkshare is just stacks of the shows that had deaded links, re-upped, no claims to be anything new.
Yeah man, just a heads up from my side - the demo extractor. haha

8/17/95 cstyle --

This one for example hasn't been reupd and it has the Cestyle - Backstreets Demo.

Lord Digga - Busting A Nut Demo

Hey, Abstrakt welcome to the board and to this thread.

Question: when you say you have tapes, do you mean new physical tapes that you’ve ripped or existing rips that were previously posted? If they’re totally different recordings of dates previously posted that’s super cool too; I’m just trying to see if there are any dates you included that are totally never-heard before.

As for 1990, 1991 shows, if tapes exist they haven't surfaced, or they would have been posted (at least here) by now.

Hey peeps. Thanks for the welcome here. Thanks to irish for pointing me here and being a bro, unikone for being unikone, serch4beatz and nes for encouragement, verge for advice, sleep for the blog, all the original rippers and uppers (DJ Eclipse, andyman, howfresh), and random sharers and uppers from slsk, soundcloud, mixcloud, hulkshare (theabstrakt), jamo and brandan for posting tracklists, peace to aleph... sorry if i forgot to mention anyone

if anybody wants to host the downloads on a more official cloud attached to the blog, i'd be honored if my hulkshare saves an admin some work. either way, it's all for the love

my hard drive is full from this project. couldn't dl too many more even if i could find them. i'd be so excited to see some admin gather contributions from all the pf people (from ups that have dead links now) and get them downloadable up on the blogspot.

Hey guys Happy 2014 :)

@aleph -

Like afn33282 (Chris) said. We all got ripped shows from the internet. I collected episodes during the last 10 years through blogspots, but most links are death by now. Every now and down I continue to search, but never really took the effort until now :)

Chris (afn33282) wrote me a message on my mixcloud http://www.mixcloud.com/theabstrakt/ and so we shared the episodes. I've been in contact with Stretch for a while and have told him about which shows I've got and if he ever needs a copy just holler. Anyway, like BrandanEvans said above, lets try to make a final list once and for all, and use a platform where we all can download quickly. The problem would be uploading, trust me its a bitch and takes forever. I do have 25gb of material as you can see in the list in posted. But I am missing heaps of shows.

Peace and thanks for adding me to this forum.

Ted

Well, Stretch has repeadetly said in recent interviews that he's going to release his recordings one way or another, i hope we'll see something soon. IIRC he recorded the shows on VHS Tapes back in the days because they could hold the full 4 hours.

Cool, he may not be the only source for that hopefully. I think nobs told me his man Steve Brock did the same and he had them god knows where. Not holding my breath but ya never know.

Yeah I saved everything I ripped but the hd is in storage and I've been too busy to get at it. I know I've been hit up with requests both on the board and from pm's; I haven't been intentionally ignoring anybody but it's still a chore uploading these huge files as our new fellow s&b archivists Ted and Chris have stated. Shout out to everyone who's been keeping this alive

Hi guys,

So could any of you guys check my list I've posted and let me know if there are any episodes you have that I don't? Would really like to hear. I will upload all my rips either on my mixcloud or other site.

Thanks
TD

Thanks @serch4beatz - I checked your shows, unfortunately I've got those already.

@BrendanEvans - Wouldn't be easier if you can send them to me online :) it's faster and won't cost you money, because I live in Europe.

I am currently organizing my catalog.

Cheers

uploading on hulkshare seems pretty fast, compared to rapidshare/mediafire, and the like

guys I am uploading all my files to Mega.co.nz

50gb storage on cloud :) FREE

I organized all the material with dates and names, some missing but in total I got 203 full episodes including 2010 and later I will upload another folder containing another 100 freestyles, unknown episodes that I can't place...

Now if that doesn't do the job I don't know. Lets keep this movement alive of Stretch & Bobbito.

I send the link once everything is online

Peace
