Lol. Ok, so the Head on and Spread It Around were weaker tracks and most of the album is better than that. This will get more listens over here, thanks again!

SAH B listen - as for saying K-Def not being involved - if I remember correctly somebody stated that when K-Def first put up the World Renown tracks on myspace. (I guess they also tried to get the Kamakaze from him.)

@Verge change the "Spread It" with the ill RMX from the 12 and add "On The Real" with Mega and Nas.

Been listening to the LP every day for now - "Rhyme Crime Profession" might be my favorite track. KL's delivery is dope.

Is the unreleased PHD album a myth? (not talking about Without Warning) 2 Gatefold double LPs would be ill - PHD and Kamakaze as pre Screwball bundle. Or a House Of Hitz Series, depending on how good the D1 LP is. World Renown, Sah-B and Kamakaze are all good to go. MAAAAAARLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON HAHAHAHA ( maybe he even got a 91 or 95 Cormega EP)

One of ya all limited reps could try to contact DJ Hot Day and see what he got in the vaults. (or contact Cormega and see which connections he can make - DJ Hot Day, Large Pro, Marley, Nas?, CNN,...) Poet gets back at people.

Bas Blasta tape is great too. Hopefully the full album surfaces.

Kyron / Solo goes by Legacy for Kamakaze.

Don't know if this is the best digital version of "On The Real". Never came out except Boots. Most def adds on to the Tape feeling though. KL's Robin Hood Story "Mo Murder - Mo Crime". haha while Solo's part is straight stick up kid.

Oh, word?!

Anyways, here's what someone on the DWG Forum said...

K-Def said in an interview with a French Hip Hop magazine that he was forced to do fast work on the World Renown, Sah-B, Kamakaze and De'1 projects and that many of tha tracks sound like "assembly line" production.

I don't give a fuck what K-Def said. He reused a Sah-B beat for the Real Live LP and she had the better version of it. K-Def's best production on them albums or in that timeframe - won't ever touch that. If you look at the albums that came out in 1995 - Kamakaze for sure is in the TOP 20 if not TOP 10.

Ok, somebody should be able to track dude down and make a Limited happen. It looks like there might be enough demo tapes for an album.
