^^ 45 is dope but like a lot of good UK rappers he doesnt have alot of material to his name. His other notable appearances are on 'Worldwide' with Rodney P & Skinnyman (from 2002) and on 'Two Guns Blazing' on Klashnekoff's 'Lionheart' album (2007) . I'd post links but Im at work right now

Just saw this on the DWG board - Music Of Life have re-launched as a digital label and are reissuing the back catalogue
A lot of the catalogue was missing from the online offering. Having recently got a lot of the original DAT tapes and analogue tape masters back after many years in storage I'm reconstructing as much as I am able to bar the ones which were only licensed or sold. Hopefully everything worth having will be up in it's original form in the end.

This week I submitted the following which should all come available late June 2013 between 23rd and 28th.

NOTE 2 - THE MICROPHONE PRINCE - WHO'S THE CAPTAIN / EVVONNE & CORY - Release 28/06.13
NOTE 26 - DEMON BOYZ - RECOGNITION 12" SINGLE - Release 28/06.13
NOTE 32 - SL TROOPERS - MOVEMENT / THRER IT IS - Release 28/06.13
NOTE 53 - SON OF NOISE - SON OF NOISE / ILL JUSTICE -Release 28/06.13
NOTE 57 - KAOS FROM ORDER / CONCRETE SHOW - Release 23/06/13
NOTE 61 - KILLA INSTINCT - BAMBI MURDERS (All 3 Mixes) - Release 28/06.13
NOTE 63 - KILLA INSTINCT - UN-UNITED KINGDOM / DEN OF THIEVES - Release 28/06.13

I just interviewed UK rapper Fallacy (one my favourite MCs) for my blog. He debuted on Blak Twang's 'Homegrown' (on the b-side of the Real Estate 12") back in '96 and has been through a lot since then. It makes for a pretty good read.

Only just read this! Great interview. Used to like Fallacy.

His take on the scene dividing is interesting. A topic that really fascinates me. "Backpackers wanting to feel safe away from the rudeboys" is cringeworthy, but true. Things like Westwood's night at Club UN in Tottenham, Rampage at Carnival, and just certain artists live shows were (without wanting to sound like a massive racist) a bit of a nightmare if you were white. We never got robbed or anything, but you knew you had to watch yourself and you couldn't really get pissed and act like a dick like you could at Scratch, which had a completely different crowd.

It was a novelty for while, then it just became completely crap, with breakdancing competitions and nonsense like that.

It's similar to Jungle morphing into Drum N Bass, which went from quite a raw night out to suddenly having jazz bands doing a PA or some bollocks.

Yup. At best those 'True Skool' nights like Scratch had the tunes but not the proper atmosphere.
D&B nights were still cool if you knew where to go (I'll admit to being to apprehensive to ever go to something like Telepathy at Stratford Rex!) but by 2003 had just become an all white, 90% male mix of stoners, students and chavs. Its the same at concerts now. Go and see someone like Pete Rock & CL or Big Daddy Kane and its nearly all white dudes aged 30 and up, which makes CL performing 'Take You There' and 'Lots Of Lovin' a bit redundant and pretty awkward.
One thing I noticed at the Cam'ron (no)show a couple of weeks back was it was a mostly black crowd but probably in their late 20s upwards so there wasnt really anyone acting like a dick.

Also, Fallacy is a badman and probably the best MC to come out of this country IMO.

the Planets - Circle Of Light EP

i don't know anything asbout those dudes it's just a random UK 12" I've had for a long time. discogs says it's from 2000 from the sound of it I thought it was a little older. apparently they did some stuff with Roc Marciano a few years ago.
