The only one PF tape I have is #44.

Westwood played some of 26 back in '94 and it sounded good.

Fellas whats up?

Craig, I saw you posted a photo book about Mixtapes by DJ Mars. Which reminded me, I had brought one of his tapes back in 98. Here it is.

DJ Mars. DJ for Hot 97 in Atlanta, Georgia.

One of my favorite songs on this mixtape is an unreleased Eric B & Rakim track. I found a full version on youtube.

I got this as a freebie back when I would get records at Fat Beats in NYC. They used to put promo shit in the shopping bags (Records, Tapes, Stickers, etc.). I got this in one of them. And I recently found it in by bucket of treats.

P.S. Its a 2 sided tape, but the second side is just a duplicate of Side A.

Ok. I found this on an old hard drive I had. This is not my rip, I can't remember where I got it from. Its only 45 mins long. So hopefully we can crack open the floodgates with this one. Been trying to find some WHBI and/or Awesome Two shows. Enjoy y'all.

Last for the evening. This mix was recorded off a station from South Florida. I used to work at this radio station and had my own show Fridays 10pm-2am and also as a DJ/Co-host on the morning show. I was asked to fill in this particular evening since the other DJ (DJ Excel, no not the mixtape DJ) couldn't make it. Every night from 11-12am they would do a theme, luckily he didn't make it for Old School night (Relief for me from having to always mix records like T.I., Bonecrusher, and Lil Jon thank god). Unfortunately, I wanted to go deeper on the Old School by breaking the rare shit out, but commercial radio would not allow me. I actually got chewed out by the PD (Program Director) for playing "How Many MC's" by Black Moon. WOW! Commercial radio. BLAH!. At least I was able to cut up the Society record "Yes n Deed" since he was considered a regional record. Anyway, enjoy. I'm not the guy hosting, I'm the one co-hosting and mixing.

(P.S. We had a cd burner connected to the radio control board. So, this is how this came about.)

I'm after a mix that was on Westwoods show waaaaaay back in the day.

could have been Ron G or Doo wop.

and while I`m here over Christmas I`m gonna try and finish my 2 hour long 4 track mix that i started ages ago

I'm trying to find a mix by DJ Doo Wop. It was either performed live on Westwood's show, or it was a mixtape that Westwood played. It had a load of popular 90s stuff in it. One thing I remember is there's a bit where he's playing Black Sheep's The Choice Is Yours and he cuts the track out and says "if your weed falls our your blunt", then he brings the track back in where it says "pick it up, pick it up, pick it up".

Anyone know the mix I'm talking about? I have it on tape somewhere, but if anyone's got a good rip of it, it would be great if you could upload it.

My recording of it is really good, so I'll rip it soon.

I found a load of other Westwood tapes too, including guest mixes from Funkmaster Flex, DJ Riz, Primecuts, more from Doo Wop and a bunch of others.
