CENOBITES FOR DUMMIES

Post by Reason »

you lose
lazy woman
cold peein on em
break em down

after listening to the four tracks above after finding them in a random directory on my computer...i'm fucking hooked. the only person/thing i'm familiar with is kool keith.

what/who are the cenobites? did they ever release a full length? just post a bunch of information...i'm a big fan of critical beatdown, and did not think, after listening to very short cuts of tracks off albums like matthew and that one with the ass on the cover, that keith could ever come off that ill again. this cenobites shit might be doper.

The Cenobites (Kool Keith and Godfather Don) were signed to Fondle 'Em and released one album, "The Cenobites LP". It's OOP and last time I checked it was selling on eBay for around $100. Those tracks you have were the "Lost Tracks" that someone here uploaded, if I remember right. I'll upload the album soon.

I think that to say The Cenobites were "signed" to Fondle 'Em is kind of a misnomer...really, those are tracks by Kool Keith and Godfather Don made as radio promos that Bobbito then threw together for a vinyl pressing.

Cenobites was one of two Fondle 'Em records that were pressed to CD (not counting that four-disc Japanese Fondle 'Em collection)

I've heard of this - it wasn't four CDs though, just one. I believe the album in question is 'World Of Fondle Em'.

This is the Fondle 'em discography:

http://www.sandboxautomatic.com/fondle/

I wish I would have bought all of these back in the day. I have a bunch of them, but not many of them.

Mommy goes hard.

I have cenobites on CD. I didn't realize it was worth anything either. I have the world of Fondle Em on CD somewhere. It's pretty good, J Treds, old El P stuff, Cenobites, etc.

Can anyone upload those lost tracks? I never got those.

I thought I had read it was a four-disc set. I've never seen it in person so I didn't know for sure.
