Anybody with some skill with Audacity:
When it's a stereo track and you see two waveforms, one on top, one on the bottom, pause... Is it possible to only select one? Because it always automatically selects both and in some cases the one side has to be amplified much more than the other, like with some tape rips.

it can be done in sound forge, i think i know where you are going with that question. you wanted to see if you could swap out the weaker channel and just kinda mirror the better one? if so, that can be done but not sure in audacity - sound forge for sure, though.

Verge:

On the upper left corner of every channel there's the name of the file. Next to it there's an arrow pointing down. Click on it and a list of options will show up. Select "split stereo track". Now you have two separate mono channels and you can edit each as you wish. When you're done, select "make stereo track" to go back to one stereo channel but i don't think that's necessary 'cause if you export the file channels are gonna be merged anyway.

I remember gettin that record as a promo when i did the college radio thing and wished so bad that Arabian Facebuster had an instro, lol. That beat is great. One of those where the original is godly that you think nobody should ever dare sample it but that kid Vaz pulled it off. I always thought it was a Mondee beat cause Mondee is illllll. I'd still recommend heads rather listen to this:
