^^ cheers for those Craig. I posted the vinyl of the freestyles from part 1 ages ago so good to have the full set. Some great stuff on there. Treach over 'Keep It Thoro' and Prodigy & E Money Bags over 'Phone Tap' are dope. Always like the Journalist joint over the Mass Appeal beat aswell.

Some covers, most of the tapes I've got don't have covers, but early in the 90s it was very usual.

some of the older UK/Euro heads might remember Dave Ruf (Mindbomb/Jeep Beat Collective) and the 'Radio Zero' show that he sent out by mail order every couple of months. I was sent a stack of them recently and just posted up the first 3.
Lots early 00s (these are all from 2000) underground/indie joints on here

No sweat tuna,

Ol Dirty really is buggin out. Flex gets a little nervous at one point, jokes.

Star Wars themes, zulu breaks and Wu bangers in one mix is alright by me.

I also love the start where ODB realises that Ghostface is in the building. And the fact that he calls him Dennis on air.

DJ R-Tistic “The Timeline” – 500 Classic West Coast Songs in 80min

http://www.dubcnn.com/2013/05/02/dubcnn ... -in-80min/
“The Timeline” is a mix of 500 songs, all performed by West Coast based artists. R-Tistic kept it so gangsta that he even got Ricky Harris aka DJ E-Z Dick, who performed on several notable skits on Snoop Doggy Dogg’s “Doggystyle,” along with other classic Death Row releases.

The mix starts in 1981 with Captain Rapp and ends in 2012 with Kendrick Lamar. It highlights some of the most important movements and songs that cover this time period. You will hear early Electro, G-Funk, Mob Music, Underground, Hyphy, Jerkin, Chicano and several other styles that were most prominent on the West Coast.

“The Timeline” contains songs from the West’s highly respected legends, along with unsung heroes from the 80′s and early 90′s, one-hit wonders and new rappers who are currently making their mark in the rap game. This mix is sure to incite memories as you come across songs that haven’t been heard in years. It will also educate many on the diversity of the West Coast rap scene and display how it has evolved throughout the years.
