Fuck it, I still can't stand hearing that wack ass hook on hate me now, so I edited that shit out. Escobar will probably not like the song now, but he doesn't really count around here and should stop posting anyway.Verge wrote: Hate Me Now, on my life, I never could even get through 30 seconds of that song until vaporized did them blends:

and just to make this thread a little more productive and to make up for my rant cause negativity isn't my style, here's a Nastradamus Madlib blend. But I edited out the hook on it, so it's just straight Nas verses over a dope Madlib beat:
Naslib - Nastradamus [Straight Lyrics Version]
<object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" codebase="http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/sh ... on=8,0,0,0" width="335" height="28" id="divplaylist"><param name="movie" value="http://www.divshare.com/flash/playlist? ... 751650-604" /><embed src="http://www.divshare.com/flash/playlist? ... 751650-604" width="335" height="28" name="divplaylist" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashpl ... d></object>

^That was from this Naslib CD that dirt_dog had upped at the blog, but I took the annoying nastradums hook out.
It's not as seemless as other edits I've done, beware, but it's still better than hearing that weak sauce amateur sounding hook:
Nas - Hate Me Now (godfather don blend)[no puff hook version]

Yes but how many of those artists do people care about now?, 112, Total etc...who talks about them in the same esteem as Diana Ross, The Temptations, Stevie Wonder etc...there is no way you can compare a successful pop-rap-r&b label to a label like Motown.Escobar305 wrote:Biggie brought the East back. Yes you can compare them. Bad Boy created legendary music and they defined the 90's similar to the way Motown dominated and defined their era.Jaz wrote:Yes but how many of those artists do people care about now?, 112, Total etc...who talks about them in the same esteem as Diana Ross, The Temptations, Stevie Wonder etc...there is no way you can compare a successful pop-rap-r&b label to a label like Motown.Escobar305 wrote:Biggie brought the East back. NO...when did Motown start?...1959 ...do you honestly think people will be saying oh Total and 112, Mase, Faith Evans and Puff Daddy made classic music 20 years from now?...because I sure don't, come on using David Bowie and The Police samples does not take much effort.Escobar305 wrote:Yes you can compare them. I love Biggie and enjoyed the Craig Mack album and some remixes from Bad Boy, but they produced a lot of shit too and Motown was ALWAYS consistent...so NO you can NOT compare Bad Boy to one of the most acclaimed and respected labels of all time.
