It sounds similar to Stezo - Time ta Blow Ya Mind. But I think they are two different instrumentals.
if u headz refer to the beat used in the T-Max freestyle then that's "mobb deep - survival of the fittest remix"...

was gonna put this in the mixtapes thread but there's a real dope demo in the mix so i figured it should go here. This is one of those mixes where you gotta fill in the blanks and name the songs. I've only gotten a couple.
Thanks to MadHuman for sharing, check the demo at 31:42 especially:

B1 Nas, Nature & Capone & Noriega ג€“ Untitled
B2 Craig Mack ג€“ Untitled
B3 Jay-z & Rockefella Family* ג€“ Untitled
B4 Genovese ג€“ Untitled
B5 Killah Priest ג€“ Untitled

That's the tracklist, as shown on the label. I've tagged it differently since the first song is DMX, Canibus and Nore, not Nature. Enjoy!

i think alot of em were posted on the TROY blog ages ago but I dunno wether or not the links still work. I've only got one myself, with a lengthy Red & Meth freestyle off Hot 97 on one side, and the flip is mostly freestyles off Funk Flex's first retail mixtape '60 Minutes Of Funk'

The record says Wild Style Records, Ltd.Their discogs listing accounts for this and a few other volumes, up to #11. I can't find any other info on them though. A few volumes were posted on the blog in 2009. I guess I might as well post this one too.

I have a couple and from memory they were just recorded off the radio and pressed up on limited edition bootlegs.

Some of them even listed tracks with the wrong track names.

Back with a few more goodies, with the help of aleph and Verge.

First up we have an EP from Dayton, Ohio's Universal Dialect. I don't know much about this. I do know that they were down with J. Sands and Lone Catalysts. I don't have a year for this but I'm guessing maybe '98-'99. I got this from my boy at Duquesne who sent me dubs of a bunch of underground Pittsburgh shit in 1999 or so. Props to aleph on the rip and Sparky Jackson aka Tim Spark.

http://www.sharebeast.com/tbafwj3pq24n

Next up we got an EP from Pittsburgh's Hi-Low Productions. Again I know almost nothing about these cats. Time period is the same I would guess, '98-'99ish. Most if not all of these tracks are up on Youtube in Stilltownfix's channel. He has them listed from an album called "The Collection" so maybe they put a full length out at some point. I know Stilltown used to post in here, so if you're still around, please help us out if you can on the information tip.

http://www.sharebeast.com/ry9x2w1kcaqb

Last joint of the night is a cassette from NYC's BQE (Brooklyn Queens Is Enough!) and the title of this is Live You & I: The EP. I'm not really sure whether it's a demo or what. I don't think it ever came out, so it's most def a rarity anyway.

I got this tape in early '99 from the producer himself, O-Asiatic aka OPE. OPE was PackFM's producer when he got into the game and produced a dope 12" in 1998 by Chris Dubbs & Poor Wit' A Fortune which I also believe was PackFM's first appearance on wax.

http://www.discogs.com/Chris-Dubbs-Poor ... se/2958134

BQE has the late 90's thug aesthetic, but they seem to come across more as wise old vets of the streets rather than young mindless thugs trying to make a name for themselves. I found them reminiscent of a "cleaner" Mobb Deep. Props again to aleph with the rip and OPE for blessing me with it.

Another heat rock for your asses.

This here is a promo from Mr. Voodoo and L-Swift from WUSB Stony Brook University. I don't have a firm date on this, I'm guessing either '95 or '96. This shit is vintage Natural E, I can't even describe how dope this shit is. Big ups to Blockhead for this one.

You have no idea what Verge, aleph and I have in store for you in the coming weeks, months and (maybe) years. aleph has a whole box of tapes in his possession full of goodies sure to make you say "uh uh no he didn't".

Stay tuned...

Just did a quick rip of the demo track by crew? called EIM. A friend of mine from NY gave me a box with tapes a while back, a lots of unknown and demo treasures in it (many of the tapes do not have any writing at all, so unfortunately the names, years etc. will stay unknown for me).
Not much info about the year and the state of the artist / artists? but the sound is really dope imo. Could be 93' or later...the shit goes hard into my head i am guessing will do the same for your :)

Word. Whoever's lurking and posting these joints on youtube, please at least give Digital Stimulation and Aleph a shout or some credit for sharing these gems. Possibly even a link to here so possibly someone will decide to come by and share more joints. Thanks!

Another joint for y'all

This one is from the West Coast. Bay Area to be specific.

Most of y'all probably remember The Dereliks from the "Bomb Hip-Hop Compilation", their '95 EP "A Turn On The Wheel Is Worth More Than A Record Deal" and their 2003 CD "Change For The Bus Ride Home"

http://www.discogs.com/Dereliks-A-Turn- ... ase/366624

http://www.discogs.com/Dereliks-The-Cha ... ase/852022

Anyway, here's a track from them that never came out, and IMO it's incredible. Easily the dopest cut I've heard from them.

I'm not 100% sure of the title, but I think it's titled "Kids In The West".

Props to aleph on the rip and Blockhead with the hook up.

Dope Shit indeed

It's from '95 from a show called "The Basement" with HB, DL and Chris Crossfader which was on Thursday nights in '94-'95 then moved to Sunday nights. It was a dope show and had many exclusives.

Here's an unreleased treat from MF Doom and Earthquake called 'Checkmate.' This was done in 1994 when I guess Doom was making the transition from KMD to his solo work.
