It would take alot of editing, though.
First, the beginning "Relieve Yourself" would have to be cut off the video.
Then, on the remix there's more bars on the hook. Also, the video version
may be a tiny bit faster in bpms then the remix. And the video cuts off, while
the remix lets the beat rock for longer.
Still, if I had the skill to do this, I would.

Wasn't on YouTube so I uploaded it. Too bad it's the radio version but you might want to see the video!
fuck! didn't someone else use this exact beat?! A DJ put this instrumental on a mix tape I had yeeeeears back... this is the first time I hear this version... Thats the first black MC I have heard that sounds white.
I like that track, but yeah, someone else used the same sample, beat
sounds just about the same, if I'm remembering right.

I disagree about the Maryjane remix. I think that beat's great.
But the og, meh, I don't like it either.

^^I remember the first time I saw that Diamond D video. It was on uncle
ralph macdaniels Video Music Box.
I remember going to school the next day and in one of my classes,
all of us kids in the back of the class were talking about the video.
Those were the mothafuckin days, no doubt.

OK, question for the Video Music Box viewers:

Does anyone remember a vid with 45 King on the tables and a crew called "The New Batch" taking turns on the mic? Between 1991 and 92, I'd guess. They weren't plugging a single, but it wasn't live either. They seemed to be lip-synching from a pre-recording

The first beat was Spread Love, then 45 King changed it up to EWF(?),with the vocal going, "ba-da-bop-bop-bop-bop-bop-bop-ba".

I know this video existed, I just wanted to know if anyone else remembers it. And maybe know if there's an actual recording.

are there more worth checking out, i love the whole behind the scenes perspective, but i stumble across these with luck more than skill.
any help? hopefully this wont be considered as off topic, didnt look at as thread worthy.

Top thread !

This made me chuckle recently, sorry there are no flaming trash cans in this vid but...

Its Biz and Kid Capri playin a park jam last year, but its the Biz comments that really made me laugh

Biz [as we know] is renowned for 'holdin golden' exclusives, instrumentals of rare things like Mardi Gras, acapulcos of tracks that seemingly never had acapulcos etc....

...when Biz acts like a teenager showin off to Kid Capri, 'You aint got this shit' [yes I do] 'No you dont!', a bewildered Capri embarrassingly slumps into the background with his tail between his legs, yet nodding and grinning in recognition, classic 'king of records' material...

Nice find with the Yah Supreme shit. I couldn't even find a youtube clip for Winter In Bklyn earlier.
Cave Precise is a real dope beat maker, I wonder what he's done since that
label folded and Oktober went with Fresh Chest or whoever.

Wow, I remember seeing Concubinez on Rap City back then. Always liked it, as soon as the sample starts, automatically know what it is, start seeing hyenas and shit. lol

aReal, I don't remember ever seeing that Double J video at all back in the day. No prob. I'm thinking maybe that was an exclusive that 45 King put up on his youtube page, not sure though.

Funny you can hear by the voice of the rapper when it's from the 2000 century on pretty much 99% of the tracks that's from that era.

Evolution I guess...or my own mindstate, lol.

Download that here:
