YES! I dunno if that's from the demo or what.
But I know I had that on an NYU tape and it's dope.

Thanks to the thread starter and Verge for the re-up.

I have been looking for those freestyles for years now since I lost my tapes.

Am I the only one who thinks the B side wins again on his first 12"? I mean "Any Day Can Be Your Last" is legendary, but I just personally love the b side.

"Because the street life is wild, have a nigga coppin out at trial"

Half was such a talent. I wish the Firm would have blown more, if only to get more stuff from him with AZ and even Nas, Nature, or what should have been Mega. Could you imagine a track produced by Dre, with Him, AZ, Nas, and Mega?? :phila:

No doubt. I always thought the same. "Homicide Scene" is one of my favorite
indie joints of all time.

Yo, DJ MIKE NICE, are you gonna be able to upload that song?
Or is the broken CD burner issue gonna prevent that?

Verge im presently having technical difficulties once i manage to get away to transfer these tapes and wax to mp3 i will gladly bless you.

^Word, I understand completely.
I think we both rip in the same way.
Wax to CD to Computer. It's alot of work doing it like that.
Apparently there are easier ways, without having to buy anything extra.

Still Illiterate gave me step by step instructions for ripping cassettes directly
to mp3 a while back. I'll post them here, incase it's helpful-
still illiterate wrote:i assume the soundcard on the comp has one of
those small headphone jack inputs for a mic.

get an rca 'Y' cable to convert the rca output form the back of your tape
deck so you can connect it to the computer. plug it into the mic input spot.

i use adobe audition, but you can use other sound recording programs.
open it up.

open up your windows mixer. (start-control panel-sounds and devices-
advanced).

then click on options-properties, then click on the recording button. it'll
open up a tab where you can set what you want to record from and the
volume. you want to click mic.

start playing the tape, and recording in whatever program your using, if it
clips(looks squared off at the top and bottom of the screen instead of just
peaking toward the top) you need to lower your mic recording level.

that should be it though.
Can't wait for that cut, though.

I need this 12" from Half- Thug Ones
http://www.discogs.com/Half-A-Mill-Thug ... se/1663922

I guess this is the one, but I swore he had another 12" from a soundtrack that had 'fire' or 'burn' or 'hell' in the title.
Maybe I'm buggin' and this is the right one.

Also, if anyone has any good pictures of Half A Mil anywhere, that would be nice.
It's not easy finding any decent visuals of this cat.
I'm planning on doing a blog piece.
Anyone?

Shit, I just had a huge blog post for Half A Mil completed last night.
It's gonna include everything uploaded here, that demo in a bit better quality,
and another unknown track.
I'll have to edit these freestyles in there.
So, if anyone hasn't downloaded everything yet, hold tight, I'm gonna have it
all together in one folder for ya'll.
Thanks, itzmurda.

Is this your blog? If so, I already got it linked and shouted you.
It should be published within the next week or two.

Don't sweat it about the followers. It takes time.
As long as you stay putting up good shit, they'll find you.
Throwing up those freestyles and linking over here should help, though.

I'll bump the thread when it publishes and if I missed anyone, ya'll let me know.
