I got both of those of ebay also

Post by bmoredj »

Yeah I got both of those of ebay also as I have found a lot of good stuff that I never picked up when it first came out as I did not have the job then like I do now. I did just win Saukrates first single the other day on ebay also and it was sealed.

probably that gunslinguz 12"

that j-force 12 was probably my most random find ever, i found a box of smashed records outside a manhattan storage walking down the street and bullseye was in it, unsmashed.
Is this hiphop? Hell no, this is war.
I've been trying to tell you that since How About Some Hardcore.

i would hafta say it was Rumble - Take Me As I Am 12"
(also bought the full cd)

for those who don't know, Rumble was a hiphop-reggae artist from canada back in the early 90's. his biggest hit was a track called "Safe"

The Official Guess What I Just Bought Thread

Post by Philaflava »

We have something like this in Can I Kick it where we post our latest pick-ups so being that some of us appreciate buying records, especially obscure albums whether its at a record shop or half.com, I thought having one thread like that in here couldn't hurt. It may not be updated a lot but at least you get to share your purchases and maybe turn a few heads on to something new.

Today on my lunch break I drove by some little vinyl spot that has maybe a total of 50 hip-hop records. i suppose local dj's sell off their collection there.

for $20 this is what i copped

world renown - come take a ride/remix - $2
strictly roots - begs no friend LP - $10
gravediggaz - 1-800-suicide/momey what's a gravedigga? - $5
cella dwellas - perfect match (2 copies) - $3
