Produced by both Dr. Dre & Chris "The Glove" Taylor. Something interesting to note about this song, the original version actually featured Snoop Dogg & had Dawn Robinson singin` on the hook (check that song here -- Not the best sound quality). Apparently the original version was supposed to be for some Dre & Snoop collabo` album titled "Break Up To Make Up", either the album idea was abandoned or it was just some B.S. rumor because neither the album or the song were ever released. Somethin` else worth a mention is that Dre used the same beat for a song on King T`s "Thy Kingdom Come" album, that song is titled "6 In The Moe`nin`". For those wonderin` the Acappella has explicit vocals -- no edits here...

Felt like listenin` to some Master P today so I decided to dust this off, it was released in 1997 & is off the "I`m Bout It Soundtrack" (it also ended up on Young Bleed`s 1998 No Limit Records debut album titled "My Balls & My Word"). Craig B, KLC & Happy produced the beat while Master P, Young Bleed & C-Loc take care of the rhymes, each spittin` a verse. Somethin` cool to note is that "How ya Do Dat" is actually a remix, if you notice at the beginning of the track you hear Master P say, "Ughhh How Ya Do Dat Remix". I always wondered what he was talkin` about since I had never heard the original...

So I did a lil` research & before Young Bleed signed to Master P`s No Limit Records, back in like 1995-96 he was rollin` with C-Loc & the Concentration Camp & they had a hit #1 record rockin` in Baton Rouge titled "A Fool", that`s what helped Master P take notice of him. Well it turns out that "A Fool" is actually the original version of "How Ya Do Dat" -- so now that mystery is solved, you`re welcome....LoL...If you`d like to read a lil` more about Young Bleed you should check out this interview that he did with HipHopDX.com, it`s definitely a good read! This Promo CD Single gives you the Radio, Street & Instrumental versions of "How Ya Do Dat", check it out & enjoy...

DJ DEMONIC has been making music since 1977. Started making DJ DEMONIC
tapes since 1993 back when only a handful of people were doing it. DJ
DEMONIC is one of the original artists in Pittsburgh PA along with the
Mel-Man, Tuffy-Tuff, and Sam Sneed. And while oppurtunity and success has
eluded him he has continued to release underground only tapes and cd's
mainly for his homies and serious hip-hop lovers. Upon graduating high school
he recorded his first effort under the name DJ DEMONIC entitled TOUR THRU
HELL. When people first heard it they could not believe that he made this all
by himself and continued to tell him that his music was "way better" than the
Mel-Man's whose album was the first to be big in the streets of Pittsburgh.
This encouraged DEMONIC to continue making tapes for the hood. In 1995
he released DEMONICA which was an instant underground smash and to this
day continues to blow peoples minds. With its raw lyrics, acid induced flow
and earth shattering beats DEMONICA was the album that the junkies
fiended for and songs that other rap artists were scared of! Not realizing
what he had created DEMONIC started to notice how people and especially
other artists started to treat him differently, even his own family! DJ
DEMONIC was unique in the sense that he never wanted to be a rap star,
never wanted to be on mtv, bet, or even the radio. Making music was just
something that he did, but not the only thing. Making money on the streets
was the standard since high school so surviving was never a problem. He
would hang in the hood during the day then go home and make beats all
night. Having no one to rap over his beats he decided to take to the mic
himself, again never really wanting to be a rapper. Liking what he had heard
on DEMONICA he was convinced that he should do it proffessionally, so he
had continued to make tapes and soon cd's on his own independent record
label called CANDLE WAX RECORDS. Since then he has released albums in
1996, 1998, 1999, and 2000. Now in 2006 DJ DEMONIC is back for the 6th
time ready to let the world hear what real Pittsburgh rap sounds like. After 13
years this is only the beginning, so drop a hit, inhale a bit, and get ready for
a musical mental fit!
