I'm still editing all the new additions in and crossing 'em off the list on page one.

So taking that into consideration Iג€™d say:

Big Lג€™s The Originators Platinum Plus
Big Lג€™s Platinum Plus / Who You Slidinג€™ Witג€™
D.I.T.C.ג€™s 5 Fingas of Death / All Luv
Lord Finesseג€™s You Know What Iג€™m About / Yes You May Remix
McGruffג€™s Dangerzone ft. Ma$e

I'd buy and rip a couple of these myself if only I had access to vinyl ripper/converter right now.

:icedit: Are you looking for full vls rips or just the tracks Big L was featured on? And I'm guessing you want the instrumentals for those?

Definitely the full rips.

And wow, that was one I've been searching for for deep and didn't think we'd see, at least not for a while. I really don't know how you do it and frankly I don't care. Thanks once again for comin' through with the really hard to find stuff.

Well itג€™s all starting to come together and I really hope it continues like this because more first ever online rips are cominג€™ out of the woodworks. Lots of requests have already been filled and hereג€™s one I (stupidly) didnג€™t even have on the list. Courtesy of BigLOnline member buhhhda.

TheBigSleep wrote:I'm still editing all the new additions in and crossing 'em off the list on page one. But according to the list I made it's actually probably closer to a dozen still because I forgot about the fact that both Work is Never Done and Back Up Off Me (the two songs with N.O.T.S. Click) had singles and the Work is Never Done rip I have up right now is just two tracks (i.e. ג€“ not the full thing and only 128 CBR anyway).

So taking that into consideration Iג€™d say:

Big Lג€™s Holdinג€™ It Down ft. A.G., Stan Spit & Miss Jones
Big Lג€™s Mr. MVP
Big Lג€™s The Originators Platinum Plus
D.I.T.C.ג€™s All Love ft. A.G., Fat Joe & Lord Finesse
D.I.T.C.ג€™s Way of Life ft. Fat Joe
DMXג€™s Niggas Done Started Something / Uptown Connection (ft. Murda Mase & McGruff)
Liz Lucciג€™s We All Canג€™t Ball ft. Richie Thumbs
Lord Finesseג€™s You Know What Iג€™m About / Yes You May Remix
Lord Finesse & O.C.ג€™s Ya Better Recognize / Thorough Fam ft. Royal Flush
McGruffג€™s Dangerzone ft. Ma$e
N.O.T.S. Clickג€™s Back Up Off Me / Watch Ya Step (Xperado)
N.O.T.S. Clickג€™s Work is Never Done / Larger than Life
O.C.ג€™s Dangerous
Stephen Simmondsג€™ Alone ft. Marquee

I'd buy and rip a couple of these myself if only I had access to vinyl ripper/converter right now.
It looks to me like you have all versions of O.C.ג€™s Dangerous.
Which one do you still need? or is it an issue of quality?

I don't have either of these:

http://www.discogs.com/OC-Dangerous/release/1362441
http://www.discogs.com/OC-MUG-Dangerous/release/1260008

But you already came through on Can't Go Wrong / Dangerous and Swann just did for Dangerous / M.U.G. / War Games so those two are really just afterthoughts/unnecessary.

I'm just askin' for everything I don't absolutely already have collected because then I have a better chance of somebody finding or having something to make this an even more complete discography.

Yeah I always digged his monotone, off-beat cadence and unique wordplay. It's a shame he wasn't laced with better beats throughout his career though. Glad I could help.

I have the full A-Side to this, but no B-Side with Big L.

I think I might have one or two others, but I'll have to get back to you on that.

Right after I uploaded those last two O.C. vls my 500GB hard drive with a lot of my favorite rap artists on it failed and started corrupting.
Thankfully, I specialize in data recovery, and it looks like I can recover most of the music. I have to copy one mp3 at a time though for now at least.

Boxcar Sessions is one of my all time favourite albums, shit is just ill, beats, rhymes, vibe...it's an incredible album in my view and yes well ahead of it's time.
I cosign that too... Hype Shit, Playa Hayta, Swig Of The Stew, Goin Crazy, Bent, Just Riden... that album is a certified classic. I've heard some people complain about the beats being either too rudimentary or too spacey... smmfh. That is hands down in my top 3 produced albums of 94, only behind No Mercy and Ready To Die...

Saafir IMO at that time was iller than Hiero... the closest Hiero member in terms of skill was Casual... I place his debut at around the same place as Saafir's simply because both of them was KILLIN the west coast underground... no one could do the verbal acrobatics that Casual was doin (and not even in the east coast really) And no one could flow or be quite as explosive on the mic as Saafir...

The Town was the shit back then in terms of music... even the G Funk was still real lyrical for the most part... Cydal anyone? Rappin Ron & Ant Diddly Dog? 3xCrazy?

Yeah that's the extended A Star is Born by the way. It's about twice as long (four minutes not two) and has no Six Figure Entertainment/Digga tags.
