Most of the Finesse shit has been out for awhile but the Nick Wiz is gonna be sweet. I used to like Ran Reed.

Nick Wiz one looks great.

The Lord Finesse one is a bit sketchy, because if I recall correctly, most of the tracks have already been released upon the million other Lord Finesse rarities re-issues and shit.

yea, most of the tracks from the Lord Finesse Rare+Unreleased2 are from the Rare Selections EP vinyl that was released earlier this year.

I cant fuckin wait for that Nick Wiz, I haven't felt anticipation like this all year. Would've been nice to see some unreleased shit with Gauge though, since they worked together.
No more Sasso. Now everybody call me Ron!

This is what I'm talking about. No Sleep does shit up proper.
Those cats that put out the 80$ vinyls need to do shit like this.
They'd still cake. Greedy faggots.
*don't really hate 'em,just mad I can't afford 80$ records* :jazcas:

I too am looking forward to both of those.

But I talked to DJ Mike Nice about Big L's Unexpected Flava being on the Lord Finesse one (because that was '93, not '91, L says the year in the song even) and he says that it's just a typo (which I considered but was hoping for a demo version). So hopefully either Mike Nice is wrong about that (doubtful) or that gets fixed on the cover/tracklisting.

So yeah the only tracks that are really unreleased/unavailable still from the Lord Finesse one are maybe the Pitch Black track and also the original version of D.I.T.C.'s Way of Life. Everything else is either from old 12"s or recent vinyl only EPs. With the exception of one:

Big L & Sheek Louch's The Second Coming is a 2003 Lord Finesse blend, first released in September of 2006 on Handcuts Recordsג€™ Universal Masterpiece Mixtape Volume 03 ג€“ Hosted by Lord Finesse). Fairly rare in its physical form, virtually unseen and hardly discussed on the internet.

Track 2 on the first disc of the Nick Wiz...

Shabaam Sahdeeq - Can't Be Ya Lover (1994)

Liner notes says this appeared on one of the Underground Airplay cassettes. So there are more volumes than the 5 Dullah and CharlieManson upped a while back? I thought we got all of them. I can't find this track on any of those.

Yeah, they said more came out after Echo changed to Ecko (and they upped 6 volumes). Haven't seen this track either.

True, but only the first 5 volumes under Echo are cassettes. After that they released them on cds.

It's from vol.4 of the Echo tapes. I guess that was his crew or his alias.
