In 2007 someone shared a mixtape titled "Tape Kingz Freestyle Raps #1" which has that freestyle. I've never seen the tape and the download didn't come with a cover, so I'm not sure if that was an official Tape Kingz release.

Black Hole Of Watts ‎– Black Hole Of Watts
Props to kingsol (b1) for sharing:
Black Hole of Watts was a Gangsta Rap Group out of the Watts Section of South Central, L.A., made up of Big Twon aka Menenski, Young Down, D-Nut & Big O. They're also affiliated with the Hat Gang Watts Crips (HGWC), an infamous street gang of this area... Back in the 90's, they caught the attention of Eazy-E himself & they recorded an album in 1995 that was scheduled to be released on Ruthless Records but it never was officially due to Eazy-E's death. A promo tape of this album was pressed in a few hundred copies in 1996.

Some rare money boss players shared

https://www.wiggazwithattitude.com/tape ... ers-part-1

"This is one of a couple of tapes I’ve seen from Qwest Records full of Money Boss stuff. It has some of Ghetto Chronicle on there, but it also has some instrumentals from that EP too – and not the ones that are on the vinyl. Reading the tape before I listened to it, I figured that it was just an early version of the album with different track titles and those bonus instros.

The reality was better (and the reality was already quite good – this tape cost me $10 on eBay). Four completely unreleased vocal tracks (well, one of them a somewhat different demo version of the subseqently released ‘Walk With a Limp’). About five or fix takes of an intro called ‘Warning’. This was clearly stuff from the rumoured Cop ‘n’ Go album, which was trailed on the ‘Bronx Niggas’ 12″ in 1998. Quite strange that it has some 1994 and 1998 stuff on it, although the patchwork approach might explain why it never saw the light of day.

A few bootlegs have floated around of Cop ‘n’ Go, usually dreadful quality and stitched together from dodgy tapes and stuff that was already released. Well, here are two tracks from it, and I’ll drop another couple in the next month or two. Enjoy.

Finally we can listen to snippets from the mythical album from De-1 :)

The 12 minute sampler is based on this version

which has correlation with this release

The other day this dude Dailey Maddawg 76 posted these early Doo Wop and Chubby Chubb tapes I hadn't heard before:

https://www.mixcloud.com/daileymaddawg7 ... p-fall-93/
https://www.mixcloud.com/daileymaddawg7 ... -02-10-94/

Here's a zip with 3 freestyles I jacked from those tapes:

https://mega.nz/file/nawyGSSJ#p4teZzd-o ... c_L6hml2PY

Doo Wop - Fall 93 Intro Freestyle feat. Snagglepuss, Aulthat & Uneek
Doo Wop - Fall 93 Outro Freestyle feat. Positive K. (!!!), The Wild Child (?), Rev. Gotti
Milkman (?), Rammbo, DJ Technician & Red Handed - Chubby Chubb Freestyle

https://mega.nz/file/nawyGSSJ#p4teZzd-o ... c_L6hml2PY

Anyone got some info on Milkman and Wild Child?

Hey, what's up y'all - new member here.

Here's some early Redman joints
https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL278 ... UERWrBDJvc
https://mega.nz/file/Tc9jEQyb#feGdo1Gyr ... uRAWcExqcU

The 1st track "This Done By Redmann" is a real lost treasure, released a few years back by DJ Kaos (RIP)

Here's some more non-album Redman tracks from 95-96
https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL278 ... GHOAb-7MvB
https://mega.nz/file/CAlzlCzC#4W5CWdYoY ... rw78W97ZVs

Edit 14/10: Added the real audio file to DMF in the second compilation (it was a youtube rip earlier) + added the track "The Real Batman" to the first one (props to Krisch for hooking me up with it)

You're welcome! It's taken from the Japanese edition of DJ Honda's album "DJ Honda" from '95.

BTW, "DMF (Da Ill Out Original Version)" is a youtube rip in my compilation but I do have it in wav/flac now as well. Will update the link soon with a 320kbps file instead but if anyone wants it in flac or wav, tell me n I'll hook u up

Hey! I’ve been making my own compilations with rare & unreleased tracks for over 10 years - I figured I’d share some of them with y’all. I’ll do it now because my first son will be born this Friday so after that I won’t spend as much time online. I got many more unfinished ones I’ll share later on though! Planned to make a thread with these but didn't have the access so I'll just post 'em here! Props to Krisch for helping me out with a few tracks

Big L - Focus on the Real
https://mega.nz/file/3Fln0A5Z#3xjX_fS29 ... 1lY95FFt2E

Every unreleased track and feature from before “Lifestylez ov da Poor & Dangerous”, I also included his first recorded freestyle ever as a bonus track.

Big L - MVP
https://mega.nz/file/zcVkQBxQ#4bHRHmwoo ... 5T8p0vzICk
Lil bonus single to “Focus on the Real”, 3 official “MVP” remixes and 1 official “Put It On” remix

Big L & D.I.T.C. - Dignified Soldiers
https://mega.nz/file/zc1HQY5C#lMZBUESjo ... Qt7lFtUaTM
Every track featuring Big L and one or more D.I.T.C. members (not including the tracks already on “Focus on the Real”). One disc with the original versions, and one with remixes (from the same era, not newer ones). I love all D.I.T.C. members but this compilation was made only with tracks featuring L.

Lord Finesse - Rare & Unreleased Vol. 3
https://mega.nz/file/6FUUWDqQ#NenutOvBo ... BhELcjpvLM
Lord Finesse really has taken care of his legacy, he has released many compilations with unreleased tracks on his own; ”Funky Dope Maneuver EP”, “Funky Man The Prequel”, “From The Crates To The Files...The Lost Sessions”, “A Little Something For The Homiez EP”, “Rare & Unreleased” Vol. 1 & 2 and “Rare Selections EP” Vol. 1, 2 & 3.

If you’ve checked those out but still want more Finesse, this is for you. It includes every unreleased track and feature that isn’t included on the releases I mentioned, except for the ones that’s on “Focus on the Real” and “Dignified Soldiers”.

Lord Finesse - The Underboss Freestyles
https://mega.nz/file/6VdSnJzA#3xo36acmj ... 4cz4F1VtO8
Compilation of every Lord Finesse freestyle available, except for “Let The Music Play (Freestyle)” which is on ”Funky Dope Maneuver EP”

Redman - Rated R
https://mega.nz/file/Tc9jEQyb#feGdo1Gyr ... uRAWcExqcU
Compilation of early Redman tracks and freestyles recorded before his debut “Whut? Thee Album”.

Redman - Another Journey To The Darkside
https://mega.nz/file/CAlzlCzC#4W5CWdYoY ... rw78W97ZVs
Redman has a bunch of tracks recorded between 1994-1996 that wasn’t on “Dare Iz A Darkside” or “Muddy Waters” - this is them. Features are not included on this one.

Shyheim - All Out on My Own
https://mega.nz/file/CRlj2ATI#JXd1z9-6d ... zeyo5O9ziw
Unreleased tracks, b-sides and a few features from 92-98.

Thanks for those comps brainghost! Just checked the Lord Finesse, there's a couple of freestyles I didn't have.

I'm pretty sure that Lord Finesse & Percee-P freestyle on Stretch & Bobbito labeled as 1993 is actually from 1991.

As for "Stretch & Bobbito Feb 14 '91": I had a lower quality version of that freestyle but didn't know it was from Stretch & Bobbito - are you 100 % sure it is? I never saw audio from that date shared.

I have one Finesse freestyle you didn't include, it's with Lord Tariq off a Buckwild mixtape. Let me know if you need that.

No problem man, glad I could hook you up with something as well!

I stand corrected on that Lord Finesse & Percee P in that case. Funny story about that one; I added the pitched down Live at The BBQ beat in the background myself to make it flow better because I couldn't find a full version of the freestyle, it's actually based off 3 different files all in different quality!

The first Lord Finesse verse is from a file named Stretch & Bobbito '93, the second file had about half of Lord Finesse's second verse and was labeled Stretch & Bobbito Freestyle' 92, the third part with the rest of Lord Finesse's second verse and Percee P's part is taken from a CM Famalam show (the rip started in the middle of Lord Finesse's second verse). The CM Famalam show was labeled 3/21/02 by the host Lord Sear has a different show uploaded with that date, I couldn't track down a full rip of the one I was looking for. If you want the 3 original files to that freestyle, tell me and I'll upload 'em! Why do you believe it's from' 91? You're probably right, just curious!

As for the Stretch & Bobbito Feb 14 '91 Freestyle I can't say I'm 100%, I've seen it labeled as recorded both 1990 and 1992 as well.. Lord Finesse was on Stretch & Bobbito Feb 14' 91 though, and he does give a Valentines Day shoutout so I do believe it's correct!

That Lord Finesse & Lord Tariq you're talking about you gave me but that's just a part of the included "Back To School Intro" or am I mistaken? Thanks anyway!

Other edits I did other than the Percee P one:

Added the Yes You May Remix beat to the Yo! MTV Raps '93 freestyle as it was very low

I cut out the talking on the freestyle with KRS-One '95. The full version is a great listen (they're joking around with Stretch & Bobbito) but I've had people getting disturbed when it was played because of all the talking so this edit is easier to put on when you're around people

Also cut out some talking parts from the Percee P battle '89 and the live freestyle with ODB & Mr. Cheeks

I can also add that I'm not 100% that the 88HipHop freestyle is from' 96

Great work on the edits man!

And my bad, of course you're right about the freestyle with Lord Tariq, that's just an edited version of the full Buckwild intro.

Also, you got me convinced with the Valentine's Day shoutout :)

I have a recording (not the best quality) of the Stretch & Bob show with the Lord Finesse & Percee-P freestyle. It's not labeled with any date but judging from the songs being played it's a '91 show.

Thanks for putting together that Finesse freestyle comp.

Only others with freestyle in the title that I can think of that're missing: BLVD. Mobb Freestyle from Down For the Underground (Remix), which isn't really a freestyle anyway, and the '95 Doo Wop Freestyle from Is New York in the House? which I don't think has ever surfaced online.

BOOM BANG !!! That Finesse set of freestyles is illlllll !

I was at Fat Beats that day, sooo good to hear that. Never thought I'd hear that again.

BTW. Where'd that Flex/ Westwood from Dec 1995 come from ? Was that the mighty Step One ?

Regardless, sick selection. Big respect brainghost !

Appreciate it man! I can't reply to PMs at the moment but the other Check The Method version I'm talking about is from "From The Crates To The Files... The List Sessions", while this one is from DITC "Unreleased Productions". It's the same beat n all just different mixdowns - the other one has a bit more breaks.

Oh ok, '91 it is then! Would you want to hook me up with that show? I looked all over for any info about when it was done but couldn't find anything, and I only knew it was from Stretch & Bobbito because of Percee P's shoutout to Stretch!

Thanks for the props!

I actually added the BLVD. Mobb Freestyle to the other Finesse compilation instead, because it's more of a full track imo - just a reused verse on the Down For the Underground Remix beat.

As for the other Doo Wop freestyle I missed that one completely, I'll try my best to hunt it down!

Respect right back, thanks for checking it out!

Must've been amazing to see live man, the audio is actually taken from video footage - check it out here: https://youtu.be/RAK9dZ-RXt0

The Flex/Westwood one is actually from Jamo at https://letthebrainzblog.blogspot.com

Thanks to Step One too though, he hooked me up with a bunch of these as well

Great work on the edits man!

And my bad, of course you're right about the freestyle with Lord Tariq, that's just an edited version of the full Buckwild intro.

Also, you got me convinced with the Valentine's Day shoutout :)

I have a recording (not the best quality) of the Stretch & Bob show with the Lord Finesse & Percee-P freestyle. It's not labeled with any date but judging from the songs being played it's a '91 show.

Thanks for the info, I never knew there were two different versions!

Here's that 91 show:
