" Hostyle (Quicc 2 Mac and Chaos) were featured a bit on Snoop's cuz Lil 1/2 Dead's albums from the mid 90s. I've always liked Quicc 2 Mac's flow. But has anyone heard about their unreleased album Weekend? Some guy recently posted a 5 track cassette Demo, including a song called Friday Night, which is probably the best unreleased g funk song I've heard in a few years. That chorus is classic, as the song's interpolation of Funkin 4 Jamaica."

I've uploaded 2 Lord Digga tracks onto Soundcloud that I got from a Stretch & Bobbito show in 1998

Unreleased version of Lord Digga's Motivate which was later pressed up on vinyl with a different beat. I think this one is way better though.

Unreleased (to my knowledge) Lord Digga track performed, would guess it's called "Digga from the bush. Would love a proper version of this...

Just found this on a Triple C mixtape from 1992 - Lord Tariq, Pete Lover (Peter Gunz?), Minnesota & Triple C, plus DJ Scratch gets a mention at the start - possibly his beat?

Oh man, this is quite a jewel. Thanks for posting it.

I think that might be a Minnesota beat, but I'm not 100% sure. I would say Pete Lover has to be Peter Gunz though.

Not too many Triple C tapes have surfaced over the years, but they're worth checking for. I remember from some old mixtape catalogs I had back in the day (mid-90's) that had track listings for all the current tapes these places were offering, the Triple C tapes usually had some interesting exclusives.

Yeah the more I listen its definitely Peter Gunz. Only seen a couple of other Triple C tapes online . He's kind of hard to search for as there's a crew called Triple Cs that are connected to Rick Ross that take up most of the Google hits.

Quality on the tape I have isn't great so I'll try and tidy it up before I upload it.

While I'm in here. Not sure if this has been posted or discussed up in here, but I came across something interesting on a 1995 DJ Backspin tape.

It's a joint by Paid & Live featuring Lauryn Hill, and the hook is Lauryn doing the same hook from Fu-Gee-La, which came out only a few months after this tape dropped. The title on the tape is listed as "A.N.G.E.L." but when Backspin does the intro he says "Be My Angel", so I don't know which is correct.

After a little research it appears to be a demo version of "All My Time" which came out independently in '96 and got a bigger release in '97.

This 'Put It On' Remix was played on a classic night of the Stretch Armstrong Show 3.16.1995.

Can anyone ID the producer?

Some dope Domingo beats on this one!

"Back in 1996 I was brought on board to produce Hurricane G debut album and we recorded the whole album at first on the Tascam 388 reel machine in my apartment in Ozone Park Queens NY....These songs are original versions and unreleased versions from those sessions....Enjoy. (Except song 5 recorded in 2006) For years people even myself thought Redman used to write for her and I saw first hand Hurricane G writes her own lyrics." - Domingo Padilla "

Thanks to Chewbaka for splitting the tracks and making a link
