I'm not sure if it's a group. Might be an alias Mathematik used in the nineties.

Down To Erf was a group consisting of 2 producers and Mathematik as the emcee. The producers got fed up with politics of the music biz and retreated to the background, later calling themselves Erf Productions. They're credited for producing the following:

Citizen Kane - Blackrain, Structure / Foundation (What's The Plan), Elements Of Mind (Black Rain Remix), The Gambler, Reality N' Facts
Sic Sense - Onemantality
Dream Warriors - Sound Clash (Erf Mix)
Saukrates - Hate Runs Deep (Remix)

Also did most of the production on Mathematik's solo effort Ecology.

Kotep, check this post I did not too long ago on the Cold Front Record Release Party @ Live At The BBQ 1991. I've also include the Freestyle Cipher out in Much Music's parking lot with DJ X on wheels dropping beats for Base Poet, Thrust & 10-Kay repping KGB, Sonya Live, Maestro Fresh Wes, T Soul, Kish, Motion, as well as former Maestro Manger and Canadian Idol judge Farley Flex.

http://rekordzonwheelz.blogspot.com/200 ... -1991.html

I also dropped some Radio Rip Rarities from CKLN 88.1FM including a couple demos from KGB from around the same time the Cold Front dropped!

CKLN 88.1 FM - Radio Rarities

1. Crime Master Divine - Open Duck Season
2. K-Force - Freestyle
3. KGB - Ready To Attack (Demo)
4. KGB - Street Legal (Demo)
5. Motion, Thrust & Michie Mee - Black On Black
6. Rumble & Strong - Crazy Jam
7. Sweet Ebony - Different Touch
8. Sweet Ebony & Groovey D - ?

Kish - A Nation of Hoods (1994 Canada)

Image

Here's the follow-up to Kish's debut. This one was requested to be upped. Definitely some good material on here for that time. I was reading the liner notes in the CD and he has a huge amount of respect for Canadian hip-hop and those that really set it off. You always have to respect someone who can be equal to his/ her peers and still be humble in their presence or when discussing their peers. Certainly would have been nice to have more music from Kish but he did leave his mark and we can only hope that he's doing well these days. Hope you enjoy having a listen.

1. Straight To Your Grill
2. Crates To Concrete
3. Sunrise
4. A Nation Of Hoods
5. You Canג€™t Sleep On A Shorty
6. Props Due
7. 3:26 AM
8. Itג€™s Tha Bomb
9. We On Some Next Shit
10. Undercover
11. Get Off Your Knees
12. 4KD
