Shyheim told us that there's a song he did with Big L and Smif-N-Wessun that's unreleased and lost (and possibly went unfinished). It's from around the same time he and L recorded Furious Anger, '97.

Really? Hmm.

I'll be awaiting this record with equal parts anticipation and hesitation. Not sure how Pete's newer beats will stack up...what I've heard lately has been kind of underwhelming ("Ayo", et cetera).

I'm all for new rhymes from General Tek & General Steele, though. The Boot Camp Click K.I.M.

Yeah forreal. Pete is also supposed to produce a whole album for The Dogg Pound this year or early next year.

Pete needs to get back on the SP, but guaranteed that's never gonna happen. He does whatever the fuck he wants and really don't give a shit what anyone thinks. At least that's the impression I've always gotten.

"Nuthin Muve But The Money" was actually issued on a 12", it was white labeled after they had trouble clearing the sample.

Yeah. I had that white label. I personally consider it the last 'real' Smif n Wessun cut. If it actually was, I don't know. But it's the last joint that I can say that I really loved from them.

If PR really, really went at it, I might be interested in the album. But I doubt it. Tek confirms the collabo in this interview, but comes off pretty meh.

He also looks a bit off his rocker nowadays. Half Tyson, half Aceyalone, half Bokeem Woodbine-

so you are baiting the mods then?

Give it up Wicked, NO ONE gives a fuck if you rock, mp3s, dats, CD's, reel to reels, 8 inch tape, records, taped together cassettes or phonographs, if your mix is dope, IT IS dope, who gives a fuck what you use.

dude's just a certified idiot and only marginally less annoying than ACthePD. Must be something about internet DJs. Need to get out the house more often or something.

Come on step son, I'm an "Internet DJ"??? I guess that's why I have a Mixshow on STANFORD RADIO, right??? I guess that's why I have regular gigs in Bars/Clubs/Lounges all around the Bay Area, right??? hahaha

You just HATE the fact that my collection shits on yours, dont'cha? And you hate the fact that tons of people actually enjoy my mixes. Last I checked (last Friday or Saturday), the mix I last posted, the "35 of my favoritew Golden Era joints" mix, was over 500 downloads. Pretty good if you ask me :)
