I'm trying to ID a track, but I can remember very little about it. It featured Sonny Cheeba from Camp Lo - in fact, he might have been the only MC on it. It was quite fast and in the chorus he mentioned a couple of different names and the words "getting high", so he'd go "and Cheeba's gettin' high, Blah Blah is gettin' high" ("Blah Blah" would be another name obviously). It probably came out in the 90s, but possibly the early 2000s. I have it on tape somewhere, cos I taped it off a radio show, but I have so many tapes I wouldn't know where to start looking for it.

Digital Underground's Return Of The Crazy One has several samples: Parliament's Up For The Down Stroke & Aqua Boogie and also Sly Stone's Sing A Simple Song. The 1 sample I have not been able to identify is that electronic machine gun sounding sample that you hear underneath the "Psycho Alpha" sample. It can be heard starting at the 12 second mark and during the chorus. Anyone have a clue?

damn yo, this SHOULD be an easy one but apparently not, since it's taking you so long. I've heard it before, reminds me of the Miles Davis Herbie Hancock 1971-73 era. Its definitely been sampled for other songs. Maybe that can steer us in the right direction.

there's LOTS of samples in there, like a lot of Milt Jackson stuff... Hey is that 4:02 to 4:07 another OC sample? I don't know if yall catch it.. 402 starts with the second half of the rap sample then like 404 would be the beginning of it. Ehh, there's mad shit on there, but that reminds me of something off of Jewelz.

just checked out some other milt Jackson stuff on whosampled and now the Born 2 Live remix IS listed on there, that must've been added in the past couple of months cause I check pretty regularly on there for it. It's been gnawing at my brain for years like I said

Has anyone heard about this one?? A 10-track test pressing LP from Philly from the Disc Makers label with no info about the artist. Does anyone know the name of this release?? Late 80s early 90s release

Track 5 & 7 from that LP. I think the name of those tracks are 'We Can Do This' & 'Negativity'

the mc seems to imply twice in the 2nd track his name is chaos (kaos?) and the dj/producer is "herb"?

^ beastie boys - shake your rump instrumental

or some kind of alternate version. I think there was some bootleg of paul's boutique instrumentals put out that were slightly different from the official album versions

Cheers gents. I was thinking Beastie Boys too and that's who it turned out to be. This is the track: -

I have 2 really obscure early 80s electro tracks that I need IDs for as well if anyone can check them out (these are just short snippets): -
