FAO crate diggers!

Can you help me ID all the samples/breaks used in this track:

<embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" src="http://mail.google.com/mail/html/audio. ... d_rail.mp3" height="27" width="400"></embed>

This is what I got so far:
- intro: from Wild Style
- "third rail": Eric B & Rakim - Follow the Leader
- James Brown - Cold Sweat Pt.1

Does anyone know who else has used the bass line on this Aceyalone track before?

All I can remember is the MC saying Rhythm... I'm pretty sure it was from the 90's.

Edit: it's Anttex-Talk That Talk (1991)

The other sample definitely sounds like it's off of a 1970's soundtrack. Maybe even from a 70's crime type tv show.
I know that's mad vague, but pretty definite.

very vague i know but I havent heard it in years

That's Self Scientific-"Return"...very dope track and I first heard it on a dubbed tape of a Stretch and Bobbito show, I had to get that 12" and I'm pleased I still own it, a classic track in my view.

If anybody knows the sample for that, let me know. DJ Monk One or 3d played it on the Underground Railroad once. It was from a latin cut.

"Calm Down" by CNN and Nas, I believe. May have had Tragedy Khadafi on there, too, I forget.
Classic beat, though.

Trying to figure out this 86/87 track.

MC calls himself Rhyme in the lyrics and says his DJ's name is J or Jay?

Anyone know it?

Welcome and thanks for using the right thread.
I don't know what this is but I'm sure someone here might.
Sounds like it's an R&B joint featuring an MC.
Anybody?

This is a request I was sent via e-mail

Unfortunately, all I have is a description. I heard this song on an underground station back in 1998 or 1999.
The song's key feature is that it does a unique sample of Run-DMC's Here We Go (live at the fun house) specifically the part where DMC raps ("Microphone Master Super Rhyme Maker/ I get def as the others get faker") they use for the break between verses along with a succession of hand claps or drums in the beat. Two MC's were rapping on it (I believe) For the longest time I thought it was a Boot Camp/ Duck Down group, but that's not really their style. Some of the lyrics that I remember is one MC says "Get Def" at the beginning of the song at the same time as DMC in the sample, and the other raps in a verse (call me the mellow fellow/ my style's undebatable/ highly irreplacable/ dashing and graceful")

that's cool, I don't think it's the one as it doesn't have a sample of the Run DMC sample, Phat Khat just says those lines, thank you for your help though deerhunta.

this track is on the same Marley Marl tape I found the Canibus & LL remixes on.
I think its Sauce Money, Heather B, possibly Cormega and someone else over a beat that sounds a lot like 'NORE' off Noreaga's first CD. Its heavy.

anyone know what this is?
