Soul survivors - strictly hiphop (prod by easy mo bee)
I don't recognize the other one, although the voice and flow sounds familiar

Looking for the name of a track I heard in spring 1997. A very grimy track sounded kind of Onyx like. There was at least three different mc's on the song.
I only have the scratched chorus in my mind
"I put my life on the line 3x
All y'all gun clappas and original chebba smokers"

Looking for an ID for this song I heard from a WKCR night train episode from sometime in 1998. The song played before it was Scarmanga's "Life ain't the Same" with Godfather Don and Mike L.
The emcee sounds like he could be from the Bay Area and the chorus samples Jeru's "in a state of nothingness" line from "Ain't the Devil Happy."
The emcee starts off the sound with the following lines:
"heed no remorse for the slave endorsed/seeking infinite power/overlooking the darkest shade/drip the fade through countless hours."
