^I can hear Busta Rhymes on that beat.
Hah! I posted it on the blog a while ago, I knew that shit sounded familiar. Lol.
It's Keith Murray - Pay Ya Dues ft. Busta Rhymes and Smiff n Wessun
http://philaflava.blogspot.com/2009/01/ ... ces-2.html
Pretty rare white label.

I'm looking for a track that Ski (Original Flavor) was on back in the days.

It was a posse cut which wasn't on "Beyond Flavor", nor their debut CD "This Is How It Is".

What I remember about this particular track is that Ski started his verse similar to what he kicked in "Can I Get Open"

divvy divvy damn.
I'm givvy gonna sivvy sivvy gonna slam
don't you know who I am
dunna dunna get out the water

haha...writing out his vocal scratching looks stupid, but you know what I'm getting at, right?

Thanks in advance

Nuff respect for this one Jaz.

I checked out both Original Flavor albums, and the Future Sound's joint, looking for this track.

Shit is on repeat now.

Thanks again.

Does anyone know if the 12" version of Heltah Skeltah - Operation Lockdown is different to what was released on the Nocturnal LP?

Heard Eclips play that track with a different beat.

The version I'm thinking of is about 40 mins into this show: http://www.zshare.net/audio/6060019250beac48/

So I'm NOT looking for this version: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x1213d ... down_music

Thanks

hmm thats just the regular LP version ?
i mean its the same beat on my copy of the album
and if you check out the video first the beat is laced with a drum break then the actual sample comes in

Sorry, ignore my last post. My brain has not been functioning this week at all. Noticed it's the same. Shame you can delete posts like on the VA forum.
