Anyways, here’s the 2nd “Wicked Takeover” I had done on KZSU all the way back in 2008, and for this show I chose to do an all vinyl set of West Coast Cali “Underground” Hiphop from the 90s. Out of all the UK Rap radio shows, Westwood received the majority of the listeners on the various stations, he had a style unlike any other, and he dropped the exclusives.

However, the more down to earth presentation style was arguably from DJ 279 and more importantly, one of the safest and most humble cats around, DJ Big Ted [as well as Cutmaster Swift for a while]. Ted did this mix with vinyl, and live....
