So I was driving from Queens to the Bronx listening to WBLS, and rushed home to record what I could of it. This was the end result. The last 30mins DJ Bent Roc's Classic Flavas show featuring The Awesome Two on the Mix. They did that last set only, so I was lucky to get it. Enjoy.

Ps. Excuse that odd static, I was using total recorder and it does that shit occasionally. Anyone know of a good audio stream recorder?

This is the show that followed DJ Bent Roc's program. Pretty good old school mix.

a little under 2hrs, without commercials, and broken into 2 parts.

Thanks Jesse.

I can't for the life of me find that Evil Dee oldskool rnb tape. I only managed to rip Side B. Sorry.

But I do have a tape from another NYC Dj, this one is better I think - and it's called old school rnb as well, so you can't really lose.

** Dj Rhythm - Old school RNB **

http://grimeandlime.blogspot.co.uk/2014 ... l-rnb.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I also have another tape from DJ Rhythm. with a Sadat X and Wiz the Optimist, which I'll upload soon.

No problem guys, download and enjoy! Glad the tapes have an audience.

@Echo Leader, I can't send PMs on here yet (guess I haven't reached 50 messages?) but that sounds fine. Let me test out the tape deck etc first as I haven't recorded anything for a decade or so.

I have some Dj Arson & a Dj Krush (of Swift & Krush) tape i'll share tonight, cheers.

** Dj Krush - Mixes #5 **

Image

http://grimeandlime.blogspot.co.uk/2014 ... mix-5.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Sounds a bit crusty, quality wise, but this is a solid tape.

** Dj Envy - MVP 4 **

http://grimeandlime.blogspot.co.uk/2014 ... mvp-4.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

No cover, sorry. No mixing either from what I heard - it's an Envy tape from 2001! At least it's 90 minutes.

** Rob One - unknown tape **

Image

http://grimeandlime.blogspot.co.uk/2014 ... itled.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Rob-One tape from the 80's (allegedly)

** Dj Arson - Ball till you fall 2001 **

http://grimeandlime.blogspot.co.uk/2014 ... -2001.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

What's this, an intro? There's actual mixing too! 70 minutes.

** Rell Love - I got that vol. #2 **

Image

http://grimeandlime.blogspot.co.uk/2014 ... ume-2.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I have #3 and #4 by Action Pac if you want um.

** J-Love - Time 2 take my spot back **

Image

http://grimeandlime.blogspot.co.uk/2014 ... -back.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I had loads of J-Love tapes that I downloaded from ItsBx a while ago. Think I lost them all though! Bought this recently - enjoy

Searchin for Garden Variety Hits by DJ Nome. It was a free giveaway tape with an order from either UndergroundHipHop or SOHH in like 07. Mostly blends. A lot of drops from Aqua Teen Hunger Force shows. Very little proof of its existence still remains online. The most I could find is this: http://outtheboxnyc.blogspot.com/2007/0 ... -hits.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Any help tracking it down would be much, much appreciated.

** Dj Clue Halloween tape **

It's labelled DJ CLUE HALLOWEEN, but it's definitely not part #2. Any ideas? All the clue tapes I've downloaded are on another computer.

** Mixx Squad Presents - Best of Method Man **
Image
http://grimeandlime.blogspot.co.uk/2014 ... d-man.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Mixx Squad are Dj Quest & Dj King D

** Dj Swift - R&B Flava **

Same Dj Swift that pairs up with Krush for mixtapes. Has blends

Does anyone have any links to get a good mix of DJ Premier tracks? I was listening to the latest Juan Ep and they had Primo on discussing various tracks and they kept digging up so many bangers that I had forgotten about. It totally put me in the mood for a DJ Premier mix.

Nice. I haven't seen a Mike Mike tape in years. They used to have a paper menu that looked like a food takeout menu that had a list of mix tapes. You were able to order them buy type (Rap, Reggae,etc) and they would deliver them. Pretty crazy.
