I have a thread / blog post idea that is similar to all this that I'll get to eventually. Until then, as far as I know, four promo tapes there have been pictures and / or snippets of but don't exist online yet are: Boo Yaa T.R.I.B.E. – Good Times & Bad Times, De'1 – Day One, Shazzy – Ghettosburg Address, and The Whooliganz – Make Way For the W.

 thanks for this. a few jiggy sounding beats but that's standard for early 2000s... 'no more tears', 'bi-sexual' and the tracks with talib kweli and black thought are dope

I got her in touch a few months ago with a very good label operating from Europe & specialised in US artists. Both parties involved were really willing to make it happen. In the meantime, I heard she signed with Jay-Z (Roc Nation I guess), so we'll see what happens later on.

I got Werner in touch with Paula and pretty much arranged this interview. I was surprised he "forgot" to thank me on his blog, but watever... lol.

I was also surprised by her Jay-Z's contract, pretty curious to see what will happen. She wanted to work with him for a while though, and if she did cash a good check in the process, I'm fine with it. ;)

during the mid-90's I remember hearing Q-Tip mention a collabo album with him and Busta on the Funk Flex show then got disappointed when hearing that "Dragon" mixtape that came out nearly 20 years later. As a features compilation it was nice to get that mixtape but I hope they have a full unreleased LP of 90's material waiting in the stash.

Good interview and interesting to hear how she got screwed over. Though I have to shake my head at her for being responsible for Lil Mama. That was shocking to learn she put that waste of space attention whore on.

Speaking of unreleased shelved albums, does anyone have any info on that album O.C. did after Jewellz and before Bon Apetite? I remember some years back he was asked about it but couldn't speak on it due to some legal matter behind it. "Bonafide" I believe was originally destined for it.

And it sounded way better than their "How real israel?" LP, IMHO.
Damn that has to be heard and found ... Bushwackass's LP How Real Israel is so dope .... Does anybody have it ? it must be dope because I found this on the net somewhere ... It says FORTH album ? FoRTH ?

Image

Also does any of you has that THE ICONS - THE PRELUDE album ?
And I found that those cats Knight Society beside the album " The Debut Album " (thanks to mad human I have it and is so fucking dope dope) have some demo tape from 1993 with this songs:

1. Swingin' Chops
2. Bitches
3. Serious Hits (remix)
4. Me Times The Ghetoo
5. Flexin'
6. Serious Hits (original mix)

Now when I heard the debut album I am in love with this crew ... very dope vibe & flow trough out the album + the production is deep.

Mista 93.. peace fam. On the bushwackas "forth coming" means something like "upcoming" or "coming soon", not 4. Like you probably thought it would have been their 2nd. I'd like to hear it too. Years ago i had a demo version of Lay It On Me and it was ill. It was just another simple minimal james brown sample but it was hard as fuck.
