 Super Duper congratulations to De la Soul on their 20th year anniversary, back when I first heard 3 Feet High and Rising, I always had a feeling that this was one of those groups that would define the word longevity, they have always been into it for the art form and the culture of Hip Hop, along with Gang Starr and EPMD, they are my favourite group, long live De La.

*If you ask me this is 9th Wonder's dopest remix and I think it gives the track a whole different feel, love the sample.

Great remix from DJ Spinna, I would have liked to seen more De La/Spinna collabs

While we are it, what's your favourite De la Soul album?

I'm tied between 3 Feet High and Rising and Buhloone Mind State and Stakes Is High

For the record, I chose Pos

Pos for sure.

My favorite album is Buhloone Mindstate.

BTW, that DJ Spinna remix is one of my all-time favorite remixes in the history of the universe.

Posdnuos is one of my favorite MCs, period.

I think that Dove would be a contender if we did a poll for best #2 in a duo.

My favorite album is "De La Soul Is Dead", followed by "Stakes Is High".

Damn near half of my favorite De La Soul tracks are of the non-album variety.

My De La favorites have changed over the years:

Middle School - 3 Feet High
High School - Stakes is High
College - De La Soul is Dead
Now - Buhloone Mindstate

They're two of my favorites, but I probably memorized more POS verses than Dave so I went with him.

He's also hardly recognizable on this version of "Roadrunner"

I don't know the story behind this track. It came from a tape of Stretch & Bobbito rarities.

that's ill. i've never heard that before. i could be off but i'd venture to guess this was an early demo version of a chi ali song that dove most likely ghost wrote. it's no secret chi ali didn't do much of his own writing on his debut.

Never was that much of a De La Soul fan, but between those two, i like Trugoy the Dave more than Pos, especially in Stakes is High, Dave really surprised me...plus they worked out nice in those Prince Paul beats...and i like to hear Dave in tracks like the one below...

Pos probly has more :ohsh: bars overall, but I always liked Trugoy better.
I like Pos over 90+ beats when he's got alot of energy (see "Breaks", Jaz), but don't like him that much over slower 80bpm beats when he's quiter.

Dave on the other hand, has range.
Singers are measured in octaves, MC's are some other equation. And Dave covers it all. And no one can act like Dave doesn't have plenty of :ohsh: bars himself.

I'd say Pos. But it's really tough. They harmonize so well.
Did anyone hear the track "Friends" on a beat that was used for a skit on Champion sound? De La always come correct!
