I'll up Harvest for the World.

But it seems incomplete, and it is HORRENDOUS HORRENDOUS basically unlistenable quality.

Actually, it's not quite as bad quality as I thought. But it's only 8 tracks, must be incomplete. Particularly I assumed "Scene of the Green" should be on the album and is missing.

A little emoticon friendly, but I'm also tore up and this just made my goddamn night. Thanks, bignormy.

PS - "Scene of the Green" is floating around on YouTube, for anyone that's got the means and the ways.

Just listened to "Harvest for the World" this morning...it's really, really good.

After listening to both Ganjah K albums, I'm definitely preferring "Harvest" to "Danksta Life." Although the sound quality is horrendous on "Harvest," the production generally has a much more polished sound and K sounds a little more at home on the mic.

I would kill to hear a decent quality tape rip of this album.

Many, many thanks to basta and bignormy for upping both albums. As a certified Blowed dork, "Danksta Life" and "Harvest For The World" were Holy Grail records for me. Definitely cool to finally hear them, in whatever quality they may exist.

Those Danksta Life tracks were recorded closer to '94. "Scud Missile" and "Scene of The Green" are demos/underground cuts from '92ish before he was signed. Not sure what the deal is with Harvest but it also sounds earlier, no?

Is there a real og version of scud missiles out there? Obviously there's the remake on Cater to the DJ, and there's a live version on This is the Life soundtrack

^J-Sumbi told us that he produced an older version (89?) of Scud Missle that featured PEACE. Ganjah-K confirmed this the other day but sadly he said it was on tape has been missing for 10+ years. Maybe J-Sumbi has a copy......

Have to bump this.

I've been trying to find these Ganjah K albums, but I've had no luck. All the links are down.

Can someone re-up them please?

Yessir, the Danksta album, and the Harvest album.

I just saw that documentary on the Good Life Cafe, and they mentioned them.

Thanks good sir.

Just talked to him a few days ago, I was like "It's cool to be teasing us about the albums, but now we need release dates!", and he told me it would drop for sure. He doesn't know for sure if it will only be digital or if physical copies will be pressed up, wait & see.

I sure hope there are physicals although even digi would be great for stuff that never leaked.

Spacing out releases would also be better than a one time flood IMO

Thanks a lot Basta! Honestly, I really doubt it was recorded in 1992, most of these tracks definitely sound like something from the mid-90's. "Ya too strong", "Everybody wants to be a G" or "Ups and downs" (with a Snoop Dogg cameo and Soopafly's name being shouted) are perfect examples. Which makes me think the CD you bought is probably more of a bunch of unreleased tracks put together under this title than the real "Danksta life" album. If you want me to ask the artist directly, just lemme know, would be good to have his version.

I Think the Ups & Downs track was produced by Soopafly not Daz.
