I forget which one though.
Makes sense, too, cause he used to host Underground Railroad for
a little while back then.
Found it on "Spinna - Compositions 1". Was this just released as an intrumental or did it use to have another MC over it?

The reason for asking is because it includes Microphone Masters Domecrack remix, which is taken from that Das EFX remix 12"

I'm not positive. I've heard the beat many times, but maybe just in the
background of freestyles like this one.
I can definitely hear Kriminul rhyming on that beat, though, so I would
check some Jigmastas' stuff.
It still may just be an instrumental, though.
I'll keep my ears open.. let me know if you find it, too.

So...the album seems pretty good, but what was needed was some kind of...box set.t.

Is there any chance of this thread turning into a real flood, where we get all the eps, 12"s, even the unreleased cuts and the more recent swigga/2face cuts? I'm talking everything they ever did...

Well there are already like 3 of those (minus the newer shit I'm assuming), so you should probably bump one of em and make some requests.

Thanks for the start. I think I've tracked down most everything and boiled it down to the essentials; I think I may summarize the links from the other threads here.

1st off the most useless thing is that 58 track "dopest crew" compilation. on my spot check, most of the songs appeared to be taken from some mix tape and then reordered with the result that they are all truncated and useless.

anyway, here is basically what I was looking for

1 - the original EP above, posted by bigsleep
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=JQ96JCOS

2 - "best of natural elements" - I saw this in one of the other threads and found it again via google. This isn't really a 'best of' but more like a comp of 12" cuts, which is much more useful if we're trying to collect things definitively. things are out of order but it basically has every song from the various ne, mr voodoo, and l swift 12"s. appears to be unmixed.

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=t81t0840

3 - the only 12" cut missing from that was 'check the style', which verge uploaded here:

http://rapidshare.com/files/143900454/L ... 2.rar.html

4 - verge posted the 2005 EP
http://rapidshare.com/files/143471777/N ... 5.rar.html

5 - and the unreleased LP
http://rapidshare.com/files/130252190/N ... _.rar.html

in the most useful post i've found:
http://www.philaflava.com/forum/viewtop ... l+elements

then, there's the less official stuff and later stuff

mr voodoo 'u aint got this' via drizzle
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=ZR2QVR88

mr voodoo "a new era has begun"
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=OTSCGJWC via google

and then to finish things off, the "ne freestyles and demos" seems to cover most everything else mentioned.
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=QJVTD5S8

from 1st page of this thread

I checked werner von wallenrod's hhc article, and he claims there are only 9 unreleased songs out there...and the only one i couldn't find in this batch of comps was
'let em know' by mr voodoo
-can't find the link for this offhand either.

the only thing, besides some guest spots from wallenrod's discography site, that is missing is lswift's fish & grits / cruise control 12"

maybe I'll edit and fill in links for thoe last couple if I find them.

Then, moving on to more recent things, I can only find dead links for these. Apparently there are 8 swigga albums / mix cds, all available on his website.

cross country 1, 2, and 3
reinvent myself (there was a dead link for this one)
northeast wildcats (swigga and eddie brock) - animal features 1, and 2.5
ready to live
swigganomics

don't know if these are floating around on the net.

loose tracks that seem to be missing
different mix of i gotcha heart
diff mix of 2 tons with mick jagger sample
? different mix of knick knack paddy wack

Good, good work, bignormy.
I can't take undeserved credit, I believe soopacee is the one who
actually leaked the "Unreleased Tommy Boy LP" on the internet, well before I
was even on the net.
So, props to supa cee for that one.

Also, the reason the quality on a lot of their stuff, that wasn't on vinyl, is
bad, is because they were mostly radio rips.
That's the one thing that wasn't really brought into account when Werner
did that really great breakdown that he did.
The amount of 'radio only promos' and demos that were played and the
dopeness of those tracks, is unfuckwittable.

Great job, though.

Here's a gaggle of unreleased Mr.VooDoo demos.
They were uploaded a couple of weeks ago on youtube by a user named
"Gotsuopen". Ghost718 from VA forum gave a heads up about them.
Then, foobar and Ho1ogramz converted them to mp3 in the last weekly
request thread here:
http://www.philaflava.com/forum/viewtop ... 4&start=30

I took the liberty of trying to fix the sound quality as much as possible,
but sadly some things just can't be fixed any better then they are, unless
professionally done.
Here's five Mr.VooDoo demos in one folder:
New York, Straight Talk
Chryme Life demo
I Come With Skills
G.L.O.C.K.
Pen Hits The Paper

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=Y4Z4K544

The only one I didn't mess with was the "Chryme Life" demo cause it was
as good as it was gonna get.
Check the previews on the second page of that request thread, fuckin sick.

^Probably all on one track.
Personally, I haven't been a fan of L Swift since he changed his name, but
some people are, so to each their own. He's made a good song here or there
since the name change but that's about it, imo.

On this compilation you find a track that features A-Butter of NE (produced by Black Panther):

I was gonna put this in the Track IDs thread but since this seems to be the de facto Natural E thread, I thought I'd ask here.

This teaser was played on Martin Moore/Mayhem show on NYU back in 97. I'm assuming it's a NE track and not an L-Swift track because it segued right into Bust Mine.
<object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" codebase="http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/sh ... on=8,0,0,0" width="335" height="28" id="divplaylist"><param name="movie" value="http://www.divshare.com/flash/playlist? ... 341064-09c" /><embed src="http://www.divshare.com/flash/playlist? ... 341064-09c" width="335" height="28" name="divplaylist" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashpl ... d></object>
"Relax" (snippet)

It sounds like a trademark Charlemagne beat. Anyone have more info?

Say, are there different versions of the tommy boy LP out there? I saw a tracklist out there that was only 14 tracks; and wallenrod's blog about the anniversary Cd says that NE Season was track 12 on the leaked album; the version posted here has 16 tracks but no NE Season (and also has a few glitches)

None, but that sound wicked. Just dropped Swigga a line so will keep you posted. He's been really cool so far.

Any chance of a rip from the whole show?

Thanks

Sorry bad-cop, I too was one of them pause-happy listeners back in the day. However, dirtywaters just posted in the Stretch/Bob thread:
dirtywaters wrote:Verge, do you or anyone on here have contact info for Mayhem or Sunset from WNYU New York Live? email or facebook link?
I'd like to let him know about my blog if he doesn't already and get him some of the rips I have for their show.
Maybe he might have some tape rips of New York Live to share as well...

if anyone can help please contact me - djnes3000@yahoo.com
Maybe he has the whole show

Thanks for reaching out to Swift - I mean, Swigga - hopefully he can shed some light.

Word from Swigga is that this track "Relax & Kick Back" was recorded 94 - 95, but he's not 100% sure.

He will ask around for it since he has lost all his original DATs during moves.

Fingers crossed - will keep you updated if anything comes through.
