actually i sent some of these beats to rae's brother and he said he liked them and asked for more, so i sent a bunch. now i'm not hearing back from him so i figured i should put them out to be on the safe side. those 3 "produced by icewater" tracks on the CLII tracklisting got me a little worried, but i'm probably just buggin.JustDuWitt wrote:yeah i realized that after i said it
rae shoulda had u on some of the beats for ob4clII for real.
it cool if i post this on my blog fam?

there's the occasional good one but for the most part its pretty bad.Odnet wrote:Are there any other good T.R.O.Y.-relevant/themed mixtapes on that site besides this and Memory Man's DITC/Wu one? I've tried to look through it but there's so many "HERE'S MY FAVORITE GUCCI MANE SONGS" "mixtapes" uploaded by random people that it's a waste of time.

do you really feel like this was done in a spirit of crass commercialism? this was a labor of love that i thought people on the wu-tang forum and maybe a few people here would dig. anyway, thanks for the otherwise kind words.RAZAH CUTZ wrote:Seriously, back when the first "Cuban Linx" album dropped you didn't have everyone and they moms tryin to latch onto it's buzz and make their own take on the music...maybe picking Rae as an artist to highlight at this moment in time was a lil' bit opportunistic. I mean he's knee deep in the Budden controversy and of course, as stated, he's got a monster buzz built for the new Cuban Linx record. Everyone is on his shit already and the blogosphere is already packed with stuff about and dedicated to him....I just hope he's not doing this remix tape because he feels Rae is a hot name right now and it will elevate his own name if he drops something in a haste.
