@JustDuWitt - these aren't unreleased rae songs, just remixes i did of released tracks.

actually i sent some of these beats to rae's brother and he said he liked them and asked for more, so i sent a bunch. now i'm not hearing back from him so i figured i should put them out to be on the safe side. those 3 "produced by icewater" tracks on the CLII tracklisting got me a little worried, but i'm probably just buggin.

everyone feel free to blog this and if you download from datpiff, please rate because the joe budden fans are hammering it.

Are there any other good T.R.O.Y.-relevant/themed mixtapes on that site besides this and Memory Man's DITC/Wu one? I've tried to look through it but there's so many "HERE'S MY FAVORITE GUCCI MANE SONGS" "mixtapes" uploaded by random people that it's a waste of time.

If rae grows out his beard and throws a relaxer in it, we know who to blame.
Good sh!t though.

thanks guys! on fearless ninjas, rae's first verse is from madd rapper's "ghetto" the rest is from ghost's "untitled aka good times" white label.

Even though its a few days late I'm running it on the TROY blog this week. We hit an older audience who doesn't always frequent the other blogs so hopefully they'll give this a shot.

RAZAH CUTZ wrote:Seriously, back when the first "Cuban Linx" album dropped you didn't have everyone and they moms tryin to latch onto it's buzz and make their own take on the music...maybe picking Rae as an artist to highlight at this moment in time was a lil' bit opportunistic. I mean he's knee deep in the Budden controversy and of course, as stated, he's got a monster buzz built for the new Cuban Linx record. Everyone is on his shit already and the blogosphere is already packed with stuff about and dedicated to him....I just hope he's not doing this remix tape because he feels Rae is a hot name right now and it will elevate his own name if he drops something in a haste.
do you really feel like this was done in a spirit of crass commercialism? this was a labor of love that i thought people on the wu-tang forum and maybe a few people here would dig. anyway, thanks for the otherwise kind words.

the hype surrounding raekwon has been everlastin', dude rips shit and that causes interest and especially when he doesn't shit out albums like other rappers who created a buzz around that time.

this mix got a lot more plays than any other rae mixtape that thickens the internet. real thick.
