Not surprisingly you're alone.
All these dudes come out of the woodwork talking about "RIP Baatin" when he hasn't been relevant since Dilla's death, and even then he was a weak link.

My morals are fully intact. I'm not going to praise an mediocre rapper before or after his death.

okay, well good luck scouring this board for posts on any artist you don't approve of and jumping in them to say so, or is it just this one?

I have been waiting for years for the 'Titus Chapter 13 Verse 10' album. I bumped that sampler religiously. Thankfully, a couple of songs on there were features on other people's albums. Supposedly, he had another solo LP called 'Daytwah.' They both probably won't see the light of day.

This was going to be his year, too. Getting back together with SV and doing that video for the 'Slum Manifesto' album was really sad. The joint was just an interlude, too.

Prove to me that Baatin is anything but an mediocre emcee who thrived on J Dilla's production prowess. Regardless whether he was relevant or not, I've heard the whole Slum Village discog and he's nothing more than a circumstance of being in the right place at the right time.
