PHD - Non-Album Tracks Compilation

Post by Debonair_P »

This great group had several nice non-album tracks - here they are in one place. Thanks to Architek who helped me out with the stuff from the 'This Is For My Peeps' single - I dubbed everything else. As always, feel free to add on. I've heard rumors they also recorded had an unreleased 2nd album...?

Ask Poet he is on facebook etc... Ain't answer me on the question of the 2nd LP. [Said they don't have the Kamakaze LP. (KL was his cousin)] Screwball started 1996. So from 91 to 95 they should have done more stuff then the singles that is out.
DJ Hot Day on there too, but not real active I guess. He might have PHD and CNN stuff. (pre War Report meaning good since they was over after that album)

Great stuff - too bad he is now subjected to do stuff with the Wiggafraction.

You could try to do some stuff with him since you produce a lot better then the wack shit he is rapping on.

just took a listen and you did a really great job with this, being two true veterans in forming the QB sound, it's a shame they never got more attention... at least Blaq Poet got to make some dope albums on the solo tip (mainlly "Tha Blaqprint" and "Rewind: Deja Screw") plus of course his albums with Screwball.. cool to hear that not only the incredible Hot Day and Poet is involved in these tracks, but also Marley Marl, Hostyle, Kamakazee and a few others.... huge thanks for this again, and also props on letting me use this for my blog, I just posted it up on The Lost Tapes, of course giving oyu all the props as i always do in these situations... check out my lil' article and how it looks with your comp there how -

Hey Claaa7, great write-up man - props! Are you able to re-up your Big Kwam compilation sometime? I somehow missed downloading that when you put it up the first time.

Blanco - it's coming! Watch this space.
