I got this program called Orbit (http://www.orbitdownloader.com) which says it can download any streaming videos or mp3's. I've used it succesfully to download a youtube video as .flv, but I cannot get it to work for any streaming music site like myspace etc.

I'm sure there must be other ones out there that work though... anyone?

I'm sure the tracks were produced by Mood's in-house producer Jahson, although a couple might have been produced by Hi-Tek. As for the features, I have no idea, but your right, its definitely cats in the Wannabattle camp, most likely King Solomon. and props on the merge Verge!

...speaking of King Solomon, anyone got "Casual T, Nati Kid & Elevation Nation Presents: King Solomons Mind", or his Sol-Itude LP?
(The latter was limited to 1000 copies only so probably very hard to find)

I have his Solstice EP, that shit is dope. Acoording to his myspace it's being re-pressed:
"Purchase Limited Edition Repress Of: SOLSTICE E.P. REVISITED!!!!"

I've tried Orbit before, and it only worked the first time. Never worked after that.

This looks promising, but I can't get it to work.. Maybe someone else can try:

:icedit:
that shit don't work neither. I don't believe there is any way to do this at the moment, except recording through your soundcard, which will never fail. :gyeah:

so I was talking with J Rawls about this mood demo last night and told him that it had hit the entanets.

I forwarded him the link earlier today. He said he would then forward it to hi-tek. why would he forward this to hi-tek if this is hi-tek's material?

well from what Rawls was saying, hi-tek lost all of these dats. So from Rawls knowledge, unless someone has better copies of these demo's on tape, this is all you will ever get and this is the only format they exist on.

Speaking of J. Rawls, anybody have that tape him and Dose One did back in '97? I am about to email this cat and see if he still has this material. I am not a Dose fan by any means but curious as to what it sounds like.

Okay, well, speaking of J Rawls:

J Sands had a song that used to get play on Stretch n Bobbito in maybe 2001.
It was called "Between The Sheets", weed anthem.
I asked J Sands on Facebook and he said he doesn't remember.
Anybody have any clue of what I'm talking about?
Been requested it a few times.
It had to have been on vinyl, it got played in the mix like 4 weeks straight.

Damn, that's crazy... I can't beleive how so many producers from that era don't even own copies of their early shit. Understandable, I guess... it's just unthinkable in this era where shit can be backed up so easily.

Sucks too because I doubt any better quality rips of these will surface. Fuck, I would really love a version of that first Kweli joint that doesn't cut out...

...Still, I think you should ask J. Rawls if Hi-Tek still gots that demo tape he did with Holmskillit :gyeah:

Never heard this... not really a Dose fan either but definitely a fan of old J. Rawls beats so would really like to hear this too.

Thanks T&B.
I was gonna mention Audacity. I recorded a live radio broadcast by just
opening Audacity up and clicking on record. I guess I can do the same with myspace.
