Hey what's up fellas... I was gone for a lil while and just wanted to say there's been a lot of dopeness posted!

@Anthony: What's up man, sorry I didn't get a chance to put up that track you were having trouble with... The version that AlienNationRadio put up is the same one I have which is off the Goodlife Soundtrack, I've never heard a different version... I saw your location is Amsterdam, I lived there for a year last year but now live back in the Bay Area of California where I'm from hence my name daBay-2-daDam... I lived over on Voorburgstraat by Hemstedestraat and went to the HES on an exchange program... That country and city is amazing! I was actually just out there again in January and can't wait to go back

anyways I just wanted to see if anyone could help me out with these few albums again...

Blacklove Radiators Mixed Kids. Vol 3
Otherwize Point of View
Magic Heart Genies Cardiac Arrest

I've got lots of stuff in my archives including both Ganjah K albums Harvest and Danksta would love to hear the other one AlienNationRadio is talking about... I also have Meen Green Government Issue if you guys want that one up...

Let's keep this thread goin!

thats cool to know. that was a dope issue of Rap Pages..speaking of that particular issue there's a bullshit scene in How The West Was Won where they show that issue and talk about how the West was coming up and they give props to everyone on the cover BUT E-Rule. I thought that was a straight up diss deliberate or not. Listen Up/Synopsis is one of the best 12" that ever came out of the LA Underground scene. Fronting on it's author is weak.

It be like a cover with DITC and mentioning everyone by name except OC.

daBay: Is it the same Ganjah K "Harvest the World" tape that's been seeded? Because if you have a good quality copy that'd be a revelation..

Meen Green "Government Issue" is on page 4 of this thread.

Mikah (Myka now  ) 9 is on tour of the Westcoast.. I believe Busdriver too.. Also check out the "paid dues fest" :ohsh: ..
http://guerillaunion.com/paiddues/

Anthony; Thanks for all your work here, I did miss that "Smoking Section" UL, and I've been looking for that since my copy went awol like 10 years ago.

haha Its funny you mention that "PEACE you know thats not a word" because my cousin and I were talking about that. I always thought he said drugatize, like getting high. I mean, there is no right answer considering its not a real word so its open to all interpretations haha. So many revelations came when I heard that verse slower..."Rhymin out of the black corner with purple trunks and gold boarders" damn Lakers colors! hhaha. Or "Rhyme on Rhyyyme bag for a style" like a boxer warming up on his punching bag.
You must be on the right track because I thought he was saying JUGatize which of course means absolutely nothing. I heard Mikah's verse a few times (but always slightly different of course): "You've got missing china...Where? Check ya girl's be(hoo-hoo!) / I stole your tupperware and left it there as a reminda, Mikah-Nine-ah"
 Classic!

But didn't he sign with Capitol? I read (in Spin mag I think) that he moved to Brooklyn, spent his advance on the quick fast and only had two songs (probably the ones you mentioned) to show for it!

The single "Patience" is on the Born Allah guest appearance mix that Anthony posted on "The Goodlife Cafe" Thread

DLing a rare out of print record is one thing.

This movie is still available for purchase though, so support the artists like you did by going to their concerts.

It is playing on Showtime channel which is where I viewed it..

Actually, the real question is this; I know that "This Is The Life" has the subtitle "How The West Was Won" but I saw a listing for something with that title that had involvement with James Broadway and Felecia The Poetess, is that something different, does it exist?

Re-up would be appreciated.
