This is just a guess- I think it probably ended being the It's All Love: American Nightmare lp after he was dropped from Capitol. As far as I've read on the subject he never actually finished anything while he was under contract, I may be wrong.

On an unrelated note I have this random ass VHS tape of a bunch of CVE dudes rapping while all these chicks are being banged. It has to be pre-1995.

What's the Tray Loc tape you have? Gold Digger or Jean In Da Front Row?

Jean In Da Front Row. It's worse for the wear, but it still plays.

Is that his first shit? I got it when I was a teenager.

I honestly have no idea. I have a rip of Jean In Da Front Row but I have never seen Gold Digger. I don't know if it even exists outside of the luminiferous aether of fourth-hand blog knowledge and masturbatory rap fantasies.

So yeah, I think it's his first. The only other Tray Loc album I know of is the one that has "T III" on the front.

Shit...it's a mystery.

Here's a link for that T3 shit: http://www.beetbak.com/obj/3loc/

The only tape I know of in existence prior to JIDFR is a tape that just says "TRAY LOC" on it and every song is like five minutes of talking about fucking a different chick in the most degrading ways possible. He must say "bitch" close to 4,000 times.

Wow do you have that one? Or other old old cv? Its so hard to get a straight history or discography on pre 1997 pre cdr tape stuff. Up what you have and even the video and let me know if you're interested in selling any originals!

That basically sums up my Blowed stuff. A lot of it is random. The original stuff I have on tape/CDR I don't think I could ever sell unless I was in a serious financial bind. There really could be an entirely separate thread dedicated to just the Blowed hangers-on.

Heyo, I just posted up an interview I had the opportunity of doing with Dk No Deal, aka Dk Toon, about the Mass Men, The Good Life, the Ghetto Gods (Toon and Smooth 7), Folk Hop Blues, Fuck Yo Label, and a forthcoming Mass Men album... Peep:

so this 3LP Beneath The Surface from 1998 has some different songs then the re-issue from 2000, but the re-issue has a song or two different plus instrumentals..

original 1998 version:
http://www.discogs.com/Various-Beneath- ... se/1296483
2000 re-issue:
http://www.discogs.com/Various-Beneath- ... ase/304414

Anyone have uploads of both? I'm gonna probably cop the re-issue so i can have the Sun Took A Day Off instrumental on vinyl.

dope new Self Jupiter on the way, check toward the bottom of this article:
http://www.fifthelementonline.com/blog/ ... l-entry-2/
Pictured in the article is Kev Beacham, Percee P, and our own former TROY blogger ThomasV. Awesome seeing this kid doing something in the industry, we knew he would. He makes beats as "Beat Bop Scholar" and they're pretty dope. Anyway those two new Self Jupiter joints are dope.

Those Jupiter tracks are definitely dope but not new. Those are from his album Hard Hat Area which was released in 2001. Check out his Soundcloud page, there are some new joints he recently did and hopefully he comes out with a new album soon.
