Lazurus Jackson - Sub-Track-Shun ('98) [cassette]

Post by godmc »

i believe dude is from the bay area. i finally have the capability to rip cassettes (more to come)!

this is side a:

1 Dark Horse
2 Last Laugh
3 Chopsticks
Rap [Featuring] - Jason The Argonaut
4 One Time
5 Twice Born

side b: coming soon

i didn't upload dark horse because it was flawed, and it wasn't really a track as much as it was a useless intro.

Of note: Spells his name either Lazerus, Lazuras or Lazurus (also Laz Jack). Is from the bay area, California. Is in the groups Sunset Leagues, PBS (along with Mercury) and Disflex 6 (along with Jason the Argonaut who executive produced sub-track-shun for Independent 500). This is his first solo release (and earliest recording other than Disflex 6ג€™s self titled and Roadside Attractions in ג€™96 and ג€™98 respectively). Apparently this EP was also released as a ג€œremasteredג€ CDr. Here is the cover:

Thanks, godmc.
Looking forward to what kind of tapes you bring.
I'm sure it's the dope kind, though.

Definitely a good listen. Thanks again.

I separated the tracks, labeled each side with the covers that TBS
posted, and amplified Side A by like 17-18 dbs and Side B by about 9-10 dbs.
Took a couple of hours, but I wanted to put a track or two on CD, so I figured
since I was at it, I might as well hook it all up.

Thank you! I am very eagerly awaiting more tape rips. And thanks for the separation Verge, very helpful, I enjoy having both full and separated versions of things...
