IMHO we should assemble a special team to rob 90ies N.Y.C. producers. (e.g. Marlon Marl, Peter Rock, Robert RZA,
Minnesota, Charlemagne...) I would love to see Marlon's broken and stolen face.

This really bugs me, why doesnt it say that on the site ?

It just says 'DVD features deleted scenes and commentary by Stretch and Bobbito. Includes 14" x 21" poster'

Thanks H.E. but where'd you catch that info? Love to know which shows.

I dont normally buy DVDs, havent done for over a decade. And as much as I'd love 'three remastered archive radio shows' I'll be honest, I aint gon listen to em, ON DVD !

To my knowledge the 3/24/94 episode that was for sale on the site was never posted in digital form on this thread. I definitely don't have it in my archives on tape or .mp3.

I was missing this episode from the ever growing digitized collection...Props as always to Eclipse & Nes :hooray:

The Stretch & Bobbito Show w/DJ Eclipse & DJ Daze 89.9 WKCR November 13, 1997

"Thanks to Nes at http://dirtywaters.blogspot.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for sending me over the hour and a half that I was missing to make this a complete 4 hour show. Stretch was out in LA doing VIBE TV all week so Bobbito AKA DJ Cucumber Slice set it off with a 30 minute mix. After that I came on (36:50) and continued to rock through mic breaks (63:54) (122:40) and guests Unspoken Heard (66:42). Then DJ Daze jumped on (131:01) and did a really dope old school set. When he was done I got back on (192:30) and finished out the show up until Sear and I did the last mic break (238:50)."

Good to see this thread still going strong. Big up's to everyone involved. Does anyone have any information on the second demo played? It's by Wize Nuance (not sure if the spelling is correct) from West Chester County. I've uploaded the recording which was put on here some time ago (Big up to the original uploader) It features Kool Keith & Godfather Don on the phone chatting about all sorts including porn and a demo battle between Tarmel & Wize Nuance.

Eclipse and I are trying to figure out the track with the girl rhyming on this 11-13-97 show. We thought it was apani, but she confirmed it wasn't here. Bobbito says he thinks it's some girl from the South. If anyone knows please let me know. it starts at 26 minutes in, has the slick rick 'don't cry, dry your eye' scratches.

Bobbito played this demo a couple of times. If I remember correctly the name of the demo is 'Tears' and the artist is Infectious Organisms (spelling?) from Virginia.

Just got mine right now. According to Stretch my shipment was sent out on the eighteenth (some were shipped out as early as the fifteenth I think), marked as priority three day mail.

The pre-orders are up for the DVD Box Set which includes THREE remastered tapes of old shows... 3/24/94, 3/2/95 and 11/2/95. Available 5/20 I believe.

So these show tapes, obviously it's edited versions? Meaning they cut out a lot of the songs and/or talk breaks? Hopefully people will upload the audio from these remastered shows...

Does the Grand Ghetto freestyle from the S&B documentary exist in full somewhere?

If so, please do share. It's not what's posted on YT.

Thanks

The date of the show / freestyle is 18th Nov 1993. The beat is ill, end credits says unreleased stretch instrumental 1995 so that makes no sense...
