Due to the weird ass spelling of this group's name I spent a long time trying to ID this radio track:
<object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" codebase="http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/sh ... on=8,0,0,0" width="335" height="28" id="divplaylist"><param name="movie" value="http://www.divshare.com/flash/playlist? ... 328004-730" /><embed src="http://www.divshare.com/flash/playlist? ... 328004-730" width="335" height="28" name="divplaylist" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashpl ... d></object> :rockout:

when I stumbled upon the name of group here (thanks TROY):
http://www.philaflava.com/forum/viewtop ... ght=boston

which led me to these sites (finally enabling ID of track):
http://blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuse ... =218860452
http://www.myspace.com/mikstnutzboston

which leads me to ask: does anyone have this or any other joint by them?

Years ago I came across a playlist for a late 1993 episode of Stretch & Bob and one of the tracks was "Mixed Nuts" demo. I wonder if this is the same joint, or even the same crew.

Oh and Aleph, you're KILLING it on here with the uploads. Many thanks for blessing us with the buttas.

Yeah I don't think there's anything else out there right now unless the one aREAL uploaded is any different (looks to be about the same duration though):

^^Thanks TBS. I think that's the same one, but you can still hear record
crackling after the song fades out, so maybe it's like that and cuts off in the
verse on the record.

Anyways, damn. Does anybody know of any places that still have Raekwon's
OBFCL2 on wax in stock? I didn't even realize that shit was out and it's
friggin sold out already.

EDIT: Nevermind. A friend is gonna hook me up with the Rae.

Yo big up DS, thanks! No question that's the same joint from 93, maybe even from the same show(?!) Although their bio claims that Assorted Flavas was actually a single, but I've never come across it.

Thanks for the luv though. I always feel I should add a disclaimer. I had been checking TROY for over a year before I signed up; I figure I should try to put back what I've taken. My only regret is that I didn't have the foresight to use higher bias tapes. The rips are not going to be great quality. But I learned from checking this site the eternal hope that if you put something out there, someone will have a better, more pristine version (or at least be better at using Audacity which seems to be the case with other members). Hopefully my uploads can eventually be replaced. Definitely if heads come through with more and more whole shows...

The ultimate wishful thinking is that the artists or holders of the original tapes will hear these less than superior rips and be motivated to give them proper releases. Dope to see AlienNationRadio posted a nice Ganjah K track on the ANR site supplied by the OG himself. This is after ANR heard the bad quality files posted earlier (respect to bignormy for getting it started), so we may see Harvest released sooner than later, who knows?

Sup fellas... I'm at work on a sunday (Yeah I know, my life sucks), so I decided to search for anything I could find about the ALPS CRU... And I'm bored as fuck, I could only find rapidshare links, and none of them is working for me... So if you have any material, thanks in advance! ;-)

Sorry. Maybe you wanna ask for a re-up in the chat box here-
http://tw2ntyf4urse7en.blogspot.com/200 ... -2002.html

Aleph: you're right with what you're saying.
And you've been sharing greatness since you started posting.
Thanks, man.
I know if I was an artist and heard something of mine was floating around
in bad quality, I would definitely want people to hear it in it's studio quality
sound. Keep doing your thing.

Freezy Pazzy: If nobody beats me to it, I'm pretty sure I got mostly
everything the Alps Cru ever released on mp3. I'll try to upload some of
that for you. Their pretty dope and I'm still surprised I never heard of
them until I got online. But I guess they're real regional so it's
understandable.

And I gotta admit I have a good alibi for this : I'm French. :gyeah:

But yeah, their music is incredible and I can't stop bumping their few songs I found on Youtube... What a shame they never dropped a full length release.
