This is a never before heard album that Too Poetic (Poetic of Gravediggaz's first group) turned into Tommy Boy in 1989:

Thanks for this. I always loved the "gOd Me Funky" joint and wondered if he
did an album back then.
You should post more here, Jesse.

"Their first official demo featured the underground bangers גBruthas G.R.Y.M.ג, גCircle-Circle-Dot-Dotג, the politically charged גPopcornג and גLivinג In Hell (Had To Survive)ג, the name-calling גTurtle Soupג, and a neighborhood favorite, the battle rhymes of גGRYMnasticsג."
"These cassette tape גdubsג floating around the NY streets in the late 80s and early 90s and their demo eventually made their way to the seasoned musical ear of fellow Amityvillain Prince Paul (Stetsasonic, De La Soul, Gravediggaz) from his association with the local Long Island artists who had met the brothers and saw their raw talent. Their original demo, even today, is still one of Prince Paulגs favorites."
we need to somehow unearth this demo.......it must be amazing.....they almost signed a 7 figure deal off of it before Brainstorm left hip hop altogether....after which poetic became homeless....

I mean don't be mad at me if I'm wrong. could be that same guy. I had him confused with P.Original who was down
with Artifacts in some fashion.
And after listening twice, I still like the og God Me Funky the best.
There's definitely joints on this, though. I don't know how I would've felt
about it in 89, though, with all that other greatness dropping.
