That's a nice dirty sound of Hip Hop I've been missing, glad to hear it. I used to live in Baltimore like them so I can relate somewhat to the realness of the hood out there.

Something new that reminds me of the mid-90's: Still Strugglin' ft. Awon & Notorious BIG (Free DL) http://thomasprime.bandcamp.com/track/s ... orious-big

Great song. This and Ill Bill's 'Power' feat. OC & Cormega are my fave tracks of the year so far.

This new Redman joint with Doitall and Mr Cheeks is not bad at all IMO - thanks Jaz for the heads up. I wrote off Easy Moe Bee after that awful late 90's album he did, but this is good.

I never knew Bill Danz was such an entrepreneur until hearing him speak recently on DJ Toshi's radio show, Lord Digga is one of the people who interview him on this episode.

CLASSIC STORM RADIO EPISODE 136 / BILLY DANZE OF M.O.P. EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW http://djtoshiclassicstorm.podomatic.co ... 0_22-07_00

Speaking of M.O.P., I love these 2 new flips of the Foreigner Cold Is Ice sample by Illmind. M.O.P. set off a new way of using Rock in Hip Hop that is still felt today:

I like that bajter!

im not diggin that too much architek. Just so tired of the rappin about how it was so great back in the day, mehhhhh.

sidenote, also cant stand most newer raps about wack emcees and how they don't like current rap and things were better back then and new kids wear tight pants(which is still funny to me, fuckin herbs).
That shits just as unoriginal, mediocre and redundant as the shit they claiming to hate.

Not aiming that directly at anything, just in general.

Are you trying to say that MCing was better back in the days?
I agree, nothing too special here except the left half of the picture (for me anyway). I posted the clips just to cover the drooling stains.
By the way, have you ever managed to wear tight pants ('cause of dresscode at work etc) without having your balls tremendously itching? Shit is unbearable.

Agreed, some seemed to be blinded by their own hate for the current era. I feel we need somebody to come out with a groundbreaking classic again to satisfy mos people's thirst across the board, then we can focus more on skill and originality.

On that note, here's a Now era song I like that rips into the new generation of herbs proper with lethal diss rhymes

not sure if this is the right place for this. here's a new track by the natural elements produced by scram jones.
https://soundcloud.com/naturalelements/ ... ll-hail-ne

i wouldn't say it's a particularly that dope but anytime new NE material becomes available, i'm all over it and i'm sure there's people on this board that feel the same.
