Around 2003/04, when I cohosted the radio show at PRB, Tony D brought up
a 12" that was by or featured Melle Mel and it was really dope for the time. I
don't remember if it was from then or from a couple of years earlier. He gave
me a copy the next week, but I sadly don't have it anymore.
Anybody?

And I'm still looking for these two:

1. J Sands(???) - Between The Sheets (weed anthem played by Bobbito
several weeks in a row around 2001)

2. A song from around 2003, maybe, that had the Common sample, "had to
be something for me to write this," as the hook.

Maybe you're lookin' for Royce Da 5-9's Hip Hop produced by Premo?

I remember Verge asking about that Common-sampling track ages ago. I also remember up'ing the Royce track - that definitely not it?
