Whoo, Dirty Able? Where is he from...my kind of shit, and all the others, i didn't know about, except for Aeillo Wilson...oh and don't you worry about Section Fu, because i already have some french compilations set as well :gyeah: , when i'm done on these american or english-spoken compilations over piano samples, i'm going to put two french compilations to compare with the american ones, and you'll see the difference...

What you mean by "finally Philaflava let's me come join the party", were you banned before or something? Haha...anyways, never mind the "philaflava" population in general, i have to take the credit on this one all by myself, because most peeps don't give a damn about it...just let me know if the first compilations need a re-up, because an user (called H.E.) asked me for a re-up for comp. nr. 3, so i guess all the first ones also need the same...

Thanx for the Job J, think people are lost in it given the quantity, but props are deserved. Thing is lots of tracks are not that memorable, and maybe a sharper selection ould have done it better, but lots of dedication and work in here, thanx for that

If they get lost, it's because they don't do a follow-up on the post, i keep a steady and reasonable deadline for everytime i make a post...memorable tracks are relative, can you imagine all this quantity of tracks all placed in one? I mean, so far 23 compilations with 25 tracks each, damn...not just EUA, but Europe too (english-spoken countries), doing a a very carefull selection, plus many tracks are not even known...on the first post, the props were made in due time, but after that, i guess the peoples reaction would just be predictable, which is ZERO. A thread like this requires knowledge, a good memory, "steady ears", dedicating lots of time and patience...and that's the reason why i haven't been on T.R.O.Y., the forum has been lame for months. I always have tons of ideias, and i have done some valuable contributions for it, since i got registered here...but the way T.R.O.Y has been on the last months, it's too desapointing...yeah sure, it's always good to reminisce about your favourite mc's, to display your vinyl colection, to make a poll or a challenge...but that's just monotony.

Obrigado anyway. Thing is, u see, we all love a piano loop. But in an LP with a track made with synths, another with violins and a rimshot, the next one just a break beat and a bass line, a little accordion on another , and on, and on. Some of your tracks are indeed dope and i discovered some of them, and i know my shit, so props. But on some other tracks, there are lame r'n'b hooks, on others, piano is just an element of the composition, etc....

PLUS, dont think i saw Madlibs'Lonely Piano. Thanx for the effort, and it gets what you describe to make those comps. But the thing is about making 4-5 volumes with the best cuts, and you'll see the props, comments, objections, proposals flow.....

Picture me doing 158 volumes of 37 tracks based on james brown samples in hip hop ? Honestly, i made lots of mixtapes mad years ago with themes "organ and funerla muzeek, chinese and jamanese music sample, etc.... - result is its a book of conceited hip hop knowledge, stating a fact : u heard lots, u knwo your culture. Right. But it gets boring real quick, and is not sweet to listen to. Maniac hip hop we all are, but taking it down to the best 30 with your kind of knowledge, thats the shit. Lets just propose the forum the definite one, with 30 bangers. Imma propose you mine. Like this week-end, to show appreciation.

Thereallex, i understand your point of view, but it has nothing to do with me making a more thorough selection, unfortunelly it's exactly the other way around man. I have done nothing to "harm" T.R.O.Y.'s credibility or to placed it below others on the the competition, on the contrary, i've done threads that were never made online, i guarantee you that...so what's wrong with me being me, when i see no initiative at all? T.R.O.Y. is not only for diggers and vinyl maniacs, right? Not to mention it hardly keeps away from the standart, of 80% dedication threads made to praise the eastcoast, specially when it comes to Native Tongues Tribes and such...and just because i don't participate in some stupid poll or challenge, that by the way, are to damn easy to make (i could do it in five different ways), plus it's only for entertaining, even the mods must know that...and i don't give a fuck about props if they ain't felt, all i've asked for was some consideration for what i''m doing and respect.
Here's the thing: i've done some specific threads besides this one, where users/people who were already registered in T.R.O.Y., and that have hardly done a single comment since they've got registered, came to give me their "respect", because they have never seen nothing similar to the shit i've done, and to mean that means a whole lot, if the mods ignore it, that's their problem.
People only come here to make requests and i've so done few...but i mean, very few requests, and didn't even got an answer, like the two last ones i've done...for the Forbidden Chapters crew out of New Jersey or Walkin Larges vinyl "Like big foot" (1994) from Germany...but if it wasn't for me months ago, for my insistence, many peeps would have never lay their hands on one of most rare lp's ever, from Major Stress "against the wall", from 1997...but i can think of another thread i've done, the one about Rap Ost's, where me and another guy (who never used to pariticipate on the forum), together, were able to put more than 100 rap soundtracks without any other contributions on the side, what the fuck...and mostly were from late 80's to the 90's decade...and see, these are only some of the reasons why T.R.O.Y. doen's motivate me anymore to invest my time on it, plain and simple monotony and nothing but disrespect.
Thereallex, about what you said on the thread, yeah man i feel you on that. Sometimes the piano it's really just a part of a composition in a track, i'm thinking on Cognacs track maybe, more romantic type, but that doesn't matter when the piano makes all the difference, plus in 24 compilations with 25 tracks each, you hardly notice that...and i can make a selection of the best tracks in all the compilations, all in one, no problem.
I see you got familiar with some expressions from here, haha...thanks on that.
Peace.

Yeh, fuck the haters J. This compilation is amazing. What I can't comprehend is how you find the time. Like others have said, I hardly find the time to listen to all these volumes. :ohsh:

Regardless, do for you. I have compilations like these I have been working on for years that probably will never see the light of day. I appreciate you taking the time to share yours. Shit, that's alot of work.

Learn how to read, maybe. You see haters everywhere, maybe a vocabulary scope problem, you got one word for a thousand different situations, but lets go with the hater thing if thats the best you can bring.

J did an impressive work, once again, read before "hating"

Peace.

Thanks for the last one J, will post you a selection (maybe in PM, since i'm getting hunted by amazing bounty killers here and got impressed, my pussy wetted my haters panties) this week-end for sure. Take care till then, hope evrything running fine in Portugal
