yeah man, apparently this month:
<object width="560" height="315"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/SEMz8lP1ozY?ve ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/SEMz8lP1ozY?version=3&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="560" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>
You can see the label and pause it to see the track list. I've not even heard snippets of these two unreleased tracks, or is it one thats old(?), so I have no idea how its gonna be. They haven't realy disappointed though.
If you're on FB diggy, join the Stitch By Stitch group, its like the limited info hq.

EDIT: actually looks like only one unreleased 90s track...... meh :jazcas:

In the late 80's Emcee Style and D.J. Kutmasta Kurt formed the duo "Red Black & Green". The first single "Serious As Cancer" released in 1989.

Three years later the combo dropped the very limited EP "Annihilation Of A Nation" including 6 tracks plus picture cover. While the EP got pressed on vinyl and cassette tape the record became sought after. Here are some further details of the original:

- Label: Rapid Fire Recordings
- Cat.-No.: LBR-201
- Release Year: 1992
- Producer: Kutmasta Kurt

A1: Intro: Genesis
A2: Evil Light Box
A3: Unsilent Minority
B1: Late Great Planet Earth
B2: Annihilation Of A Nation
B3: Target Zero

20 years later Threshold Recordings decided to re-release the EP in a limited edition of 100 vinyl copies. The records come in a stickered sleeve, signed by Kutmasta Kurt himself. For a very limited time the record is available for 50$ (USA) / 60$ (INT) including shipping costs. To place your order just visit www.threshrecs.com and safe your copy. Shipping date is the 1st of March.

My special thanks goes up to Mike and Kutmasta Kurt. All copyrights reserved, posted for promotion use only.

East New York Records released the famous "East Comin Thru EP " in 1994. This EP features some dope tracks representing the fresh mid 90s sound. One of the stronger tracks provided the MC Madman Shawn.

18 years later Jason from Roots Forward re-releases the track "Walk Thru Hell" on a limited 7" vinyl. The release is limited to 300 copies (100 x red, 200 x black) and for the nerds there will be a few signed test pressings available too.

A: Vocal
B: Instrumental

The records will be available from the 13th of February for a price of 15$ plus s&h.

More K-DEF rarities coming on Slice-Of-Spice

Post by claaa7 »

following the limited "Year Of The Hip-Hop" vinyl release by LL and K-Def, Slice-Of-Spice is about to unearth more previously unreleased K-Def music on wax. as they are also doing with Lord Finesse they will release a "Signature Seven Series" which (if i understand it correctly) are seven 7" singles with previously unreleased material or remixes or other goodies. definitely a series of my taste :)

Slice-Of-Spice has now posted up snippets to what i take as the first three releases in the series. One is the song "Long Gev" by World Renown, i've heard this track before on the unreleased World Renown album, but it's still a banger that would be dope to own on wax. the other track though, is called "Shoulda Gave Up" and sounds SERIOUS. vintage K-Def! the artist is someone called Ebaneezer. last is K-Def / Rated R and a song called "HWat Goes Up". sorry if this been posted before but i could not find it on the front page and i think it should interest many of y'all!

K-DEF FT. EBANEEZER - "SHOULDA GAVE UP" (VOCAL SNIPPET)

K-DEF FT. RATED R - "WHAT GOES UP" (VOCAL SNIPPET)
K-DEF FT. WORLD RENOWN - "LONG GEV" (VOCAL SNIPPET)

Dope. Chucky Smash is a cool dude - he often cameos on the Diggin In the Crates show on Sunday Noon-3 on WVKR (Vassar Radio). Him and Bill Skillz (local cat) often go off on some sample junkie madness.

merged..

Thanks for the info diggy64.

The Long Gev track is dope. I hate 45s. I don't understand why they can't just make it a "signature 12 series".
